Close to my conference center which is why I chose it AND they accepted my reservation on short notice since another airbnb host cancelled on me the day before I was to arrive! Clean room, great, newly renovated bathroom. Some noise from the small refrigerator and the radiator but I had earplugs. no worries. Friendly staff. Overall, great experience and I would recommend the place and stay again. Perfect if you want to be near union square.
Room clean, well renovated, and big enough for 2 people. Room includes TV, fridge, a big closet and an armchair. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel, it,s very well located in the heart of downtown, less than 5 min from union square and less than 10 minutes from Powell subway station. Everything is at walking distance (Chinatown, Union square, restaurants, mall etc...).
Hotel and vicinities are safe and not noisy. Lucy and the staff were very nice and helpful. I will come back and recommend this hotel to everybody.
Solid Stay. Low brow hotel with good people. Safe and clean.
We picked this place due to the three L-s (location, location, location). It's location is amazing. very close to Union Square and public transport; many cafes and eating places around (oh, Honey Honey). Price was very good value.
Room was OK. Quite small, though. Bed linen a bit worn out, but clean. Blankets can be improved. Towels changed about once in three days - fine. Having a fridge was nice - but it is noisy at night - can be easily moved to walk in cupboard. The latter was really good, though. Noise level is rather high - in spite of being on the top floor - so if noise is an issue for you, go elsewhere.
The building has the feel of a student residence. Fine with me. Staff friendly and flexible. Kitchen very clean.
For this price - I will definitely recommend and come again myself.
The position was great, very close to Union Square and bus stops. But we had troubles with our room, because it was so hot that we could barely sleep at night. We kept the window open night and day for four days but the temperature just got higher and higher. When we asked the manager to do something, maybe a room changing, she didn't anything and ignored us. And the wifi too didn't work, it was often down and useless. Considering the price we paid this is definitely a negative experience and next time in Frisco we'll look for another place.
A very convenient location and a good sized private room made this excellent value for money. My room faced the street so there was some noise, but this wasn't as issue for me. The staff were very friendly too. All up it was an pleasant stay and hard to fault.
1. Friendly, helpful staff. Seems like it's run by a nice family.
2. No room service. Don't expect them to come make your bed and take out the garbage.
3. Secure--key to the outside, room key.
4. Hit-or-miss internet. It was okay most of the time, but sometimes it would crap out.
