Sara is an amazing and gracious host. She was willing to interact with us and we enjoyed her extensive knowledge not on just local topics and events, but more importantly the interaction we as humans have regarding topics in the world. Her breadth of knowledge on topics lead to wonderfully stimulating conversations. The breakfast items provided were local and very good to start the day. And as dog lovers, her dog Chappy was a welcoming part of our morning departures and afternoon arrivals. He was sweet and not intrusive at all. We are already planning our return to Vermont this summer and would not considering staying anywhere but at The Fan House with Sara!!

Sara, and host-dog Chappy, greeted us warmly and we couldn't have had a better experience. The B&B is a historic home, lovingly furnished with Sara's collection of beautiful rugs, tapestries and pieces of art. She is a gracious and interesting host, with whom we shared good conversation and hearty meals. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as were common areas. A nice find in a scenic area.

Very welcoming host in lovely old country property. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Just what was required en route north. Plumbing leaves a little to be desired at times!
