The house was within a walkable distance to the city, around 15 minutes which was great. The house was in a lovely quiet and secluded area, that allowed for a good nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable, and the hosts, Lefre & Eamonn, were always very accommodating to any request. Their dog, Bubbles, was a constant joy to have around and loved attention, which were only too happy to oblige. I would fully recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Cork and is looking for somewhere peaceful while remaining close to all the city has to offer.

Lefre's place was perfect for a trip to Cork. My friend and I stayed in the downstairs room which was perfect for our travel needs. Lefre provided us with everything we needed to feel comfortable and welcome in her home. The location is great if you don't mind a little walking! Overall great experience!

Eamon and Lefre were very accommodating and pleasant hosts! They took the time to ensure that we felt comfortable and welcome in their home, socializing from time to time, but while still maintaining to give us our privacy and space. Their dog Bubbles as well was very tame and such a sweetheart! This apartment was located in a very quiet, residential neighborhood and was approximately a 10-15 walk from the city center! We would highly recommend this place for the seasoned traveler, as Eamon had several entertaining stories to tell from his own travels!

The place is optimally placed at walking distance to the city center. The residential area is quite and full of gardens, places where to go (for instance the Cork Lake) and amenities. The room is very clean, well furnished and spatious. Lefre and Eamonn are two amazing hosts. They are always available for any need. Bubbles, the dog, is quite shy, but she's really cute :) The guest feels alway comfortable in this place. I really appreciated their ospitality and kindness. This is an amazing AirBNB. Thanks, and I would like to say: Grazie mille!

I live with my husband and our dog (a rough collie, who looks like Lassie) in a house one mile from the main street in Cork City Centre. We're easy going and friendly, outgoing people. I'm a lawyer and my husband is a statistician. We love travel and have done a huge amount of it together, in all kinds of off-beat destinations. We're big fans of alternative comedy (George Carlin, Stewart Lee, Billy Connolly, Bill Maher). We love good food (Cork is great for this - it's a real gourmet capital with lots of artisan producers), like going for a drink, hanging out with friends and playing cards. I love music and have recently bought myself a guitar - I played music years ago, as a kid. I'm taking some lessons and it's my ambition for this year to learn how to play it properly:)
