Had a 5-star wonderful stay. The description of the accommodation was very accurate and then some. The hosts were a pleasant and enjoyable couple who were very social but also quite respectful of my privacy when needed. And they were an incredible source of information. Sweet and genuine yet very professional people. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The neighbourhood was peaceful with a couple of open green spaces. A nice leisurely 15- minute walk gets you down to the city centre. I'd stay here again without hesitation!

Lefre's place was perfect for a trip to Cork. My friend and I stayed in the downstairs room which was perfect for our travel needs. Lefre provided us with everything we needed to feel comfortable and welcome in her home. The location is great if you don't mind a little walking! Overall great experience!

Eamon and Lefre were very accommodating and pleasant hosts! They took the time to ensure that we felt comfortable and welcome in their home, socializing from time to time, but while still maintaining to give us our privacy and space. Their dog Bubbles as well was very tame and such a sweetheart! This apartment was located in a very quiet, residential neighborhood and was approximately a 10-15 walk from the city center! We would highly recommend this place for the seasoned traveler, as Eamon had several entertaining stories to tell from his own travels!

Our stay with Lefre was great! Very flexible and understanding when our train got in late. Nice, quiet neighborhood, 20 min walk to the city, overall good experience.

Lefre was an excellent host. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. She gave us great recommendations for pubs, restaurants and sights in town. Best of all, she greeted us with a warm cup of tea when we arrived!

Lefre and Eamon are great hosts! Their place is within easy walking distance from all the best places to visit in Cork, and other fun towns are just a short drive away. They know good places to park for free, even overnight if you want t leave your car in one place and not try to find parking downtown, and certainly make you feel at home in their house. If you're lucky enough that your schedules align, you might find yourself having tea with the pair and chatting about local happenings and sharing travel experiences...they were very approachable and accessible, while making sure we had our privacy. Great hosts!

This was an average air bnb experience. The house is in a safe neighborhood, has good sized rooms, and Lefre is helpful in recommending things to do in Cork. It was an easy walk from the city centre, only about 20 min. The downstairs room is nice and quiet, though the house is fairly noisy from the upstairs room. There is breakfast but it is pretty simple - cereal.

Lefre User ProfileLefre is a superhost.

I live with my husband in a house one mile from the main street in Cork City Centre. We're easy going and friendly, outgoing people. I'm a lawyer and my husband is a statistician. We love travel and have done a huge amount of it together, in all kinds of off-beat destinations. We're big fans of alternative comedy (George Carlin, Stewart Lee, Billy Connolly, Bill Maher). We love good food (Cork is great for this - it's a real gourmet capital with lots of artisan producers), like going for a drink, hanging out with friends and playing cards. I love music and have recently bought myself a guitar - I played music years ago, as a kid. I'm taking some lessons and it's my ambition for this year to learn how to play it properly:)
