Private suite in a daylight basement, sleeps 1-6 people. Entrance to the suite is through the garage. No stairs.

Our neighborhood is quite and full of large trees & friendly people. We are located close to trails, a playground, dog parks, supermarkets & great restaurants. We are 3 miles from I-75 and 6 miles from Truist Park, the Battery, Dobbins ARB, Lockeed-Martin, & the Galleria. Downtown Atlanta is about 10-15 miles south.

The space
The private suite is located in the daylight basement (with no stairs). Queen bedroom is behind French doors and has a window. The bedroom has nightstands with drawers, and small closet. The bed has a 3" memory foam top.

The bath is a full bath with a 3 foot square shower and elongated toilet. Shower stall has hand held shower head. The main space has a small refrigerator, microwave, Roku TV with Dish, sleeper sofa, and recliner.

The full size bed has a 3" memory foam topper and a privacy curtain. The floor level twin trundle slides under the full size bed. The sofa bed is a great option for late night TV watchers, but like every sofa bed it isn't the most comfortable.

We also have a pack-n-play and a high chair for families by request.

All of our towels and sheets are in excellent condition. Once unserviceable (based on our strict standard), they are donated to local animal shelter.

We have cats upstairs but are never allowed in the space, period! Carpets are cleaned monthly.

There is an electronic whole house air filter, and most people with cat allergies experience no symptoms, but pack allergy medications just in case.

Guests are always welcome to store items in our old garage refrigerator and freezer.

Guest access
Guests enter the suite using a clear path through the garage. The suite is ground level with no steps needed.

Other things to note
PET INFORMATION: Guests are not permitted to leave pets alone in the suite for over two hours. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

PET SITTING: We offer pet sitting services for guests during their reservation only, that includes walks, feeding, and playing for a reasonable price. We can suggest a few places for day care if you need sitting services before check-in or after check-out times. We have no affiliation with these businesses, and you need to make arrangements with them directly.

SERVICE ANIMALS: Please present service animal's certification certificate, ID, or prescription, and the pet fee will be waived.

THE SUITE IS NOT CHILD-PROOF, but we do make the suite as safe as possible.

ASK US any questions you may have. We try to accommodate early check-in, but cannot guarantee you will be able to.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is an older neighborhood full of tall trees, close to Truest Park (Brave's Stadium), Chattahoochee National Recreation Area. a wide variety of restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, the Galleria, and the Cumberland Mall. This neighborhood has been used to film TV show and movies. The house is located on a cul-de-sac in the back of the subdivision, so there is hardly any traffic. Neighborhood is safe to walk or run in alone or with your furry friend. Publix and Kroger is only about a mile away. We are about 4 miles from Dobbins ARB. The dog-friendly Marietta Square is only 8 miles away, and has many great restaurants and shops. The Sope Creek part of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area is 3 miles away and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield is about 13 miles away. Red Top Mountain State Park is only 30 minutes north of us and has boats to rent, fishing, great trails, and swimming beaches. Terrell Mill Park is only a mile away and has a soccer field, baseball fields, and a covered picnic area, and a large rubber ground playground. Wildwood Park is the closest dog park at about 6 miles away and has running trails. Midtown and Downtown Atlanta are a short drive, even in traffic, because we will tell you the short cuts. Both of us attended Georgia Tech and I drove for Lyft and Uber for a while, so despite being in the suburbs we know that area. We keep a folder full of restaurant menus and area maps in the living room, and we keep up with the latest and greatest hot spots in the metro area. Please feel free to ask us for suggestions and advice.
