You will find yourselves surrounded by history in what is the oldest house in Wales dating from the 12th century.

The Medieval Manor is located in South East Wales just minutes from the M4 and M5 motorways.

Guests will enter through the foyer with w/c on the left and then they will go right up the stairs to the first floor where there is new custom kitchen with the laundry room and bathroom off to the right. The spiral stair up will take you to the 3rd floor with 3 bedrooms, large landing and a bathroom and the spiral down will lead to two further bedrooms and the great hall which is used as the large lounge.

The manor has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 adults in regular bed spaces, we can also add single mattresses and fold out beds to these rooms, with a further sofa bed for two more bringing it to a total of 20. We can also put you in touch with caterers and other local services on request.

The lounge has a 50 inch TV with over 150 videos to choose from. There is also Nexflix, Disney+ and Now TV available for you to view through the Apple TV box as well as other apps.

There is parking on site for 10-12 cars inside the main driveway gates, which guests are free to close if they choose to.

Furnished with both antique and reproduction pieces, this unique opportunity to enjoy life in a medieval manor should not be missed. The manor really is a special place but it is very much an ancient farmhouse and family home. We are ideal for large group gatherings and special celebrations, hen and stag groups are welcome. Your pets are also very welcome to join you, please just let us know in advance.

This truly is an amazing house, and I don't think there is another property so old in the UK that can be rented for accommodation. You really are experiencing history when you stay here. It's a very special home and we are very happy to be able to share it with people. We do live on site, on the ground floor, but there are no shared spaces, all of the photos shown are of the rental area. It is basically set up as a semi so you are unlikely to even see us unless we pass on the driveway.

We are really happy to have guests at the manor, as we believe these places should be enjoyed and appreciated, so that they can be maintained for future generations. We do everything we can to ensure you will love your stay and we welcome you to get in touch if there is anything you need.

We love pets at the manor but we do ask that the driveway gates are closed if dogs are off lead for everyones safety.

Please note that we do not have full air-conditioning but we do have personal air-conditioning devices to help you keep cool on warm days.

We work really hard to make sure everything is perfect for our guests. We do everything ourselves and are very much a small family business. We do our best to give back by supporting animal rescues and preserving the manor for future generations.

***We have a minimum stay of 2 nights***

Guest access
The guest accommodation comprises the 1st and 2nd floors of the manor.

Guests have their own private entrance with onsite parking for 10 cars. There are both straight and spiral stairs in the property. Guests have their own driveway and their own front door, the area inside the driveway gates is for guests exclusive use, our entrance is outside these gates. Although we do live on the ground floor of the manor there are no shared spaces at all. The manor is a huge house so there is plenty of room for large groups. The guest accommodation comprises nearly 3,000 square feet. There is only one rental space so it is all yours during your stay.

All the photos you see here are of your exclusive guest accommodation, you also have full use of the garden shown in the photos. Our only outdoor spaces are behind high privacy fencing.

We now have a keycode box so there's no need to meet anyone, just arrive when it is convenient for you. Someone is however always on site during your stay in case we are needed or there is anything you forgot to bring with you. You’ll be given all the arrival information about a week before your booking starts.
