Room for one person in a 3-bedroom apartment 2,5 km from center city of Uppsala. Quiet surroundings. Regular bus connections down town (10 min), Stockholm (40 min) and Arlanda (20-30 min). Two sweet cats also live here.
The room is situated in the west part of Uppsala. Still close to the center of Uppsala, close to Uppsala University, Biomedical Center, Botanical Garden etc. And nice areas for the out doors. A partly home made breakfast is included in the price.
Access to the kitchen, one bath room, the living room, the balcony. And wireless internet and tv. You may use the laundry machine. Free parking.
Love meeting new people and meet the world through you!
Quiet area but also close to fine local restaurants. Nice areas for walking and running and other out-door-activities. The apartment is next door to a large sports and health center.
Lots of different buses take you to my door. Or why rent a bike down town to get around in the Swedish no1 city of bikes: Uppsala!
Welcome to my enviromentally friendly home!
Therefore, no smoking.
Recycling, of course!
Limit the use of water and power, in kitchen and bath room.
Respect silence after 10 pm
Lisel was very hospitable! Room was comfortable for one person, and her apartment was felt open. Lisel answered all my questions, and was very accommodating. Kitchen ware was readily available. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend.
The reservation was canceled 23 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Lisel made me feel like I was in my own house, it was perfect during my first days living in Sweden. I can not thank all attention, patience and friendship. I already miss and I did not want to leave. The house is well located, close to downtown and main tourist points.
Hi i had a great stay at Liesel's house. She was very welcoming and answered any questions I had. She is very easygoing and friendly. The room was perfect and everything was readily available for cooking or relaxing. The location was great, easy to walk into town. Bus service was close by and very user friendly for tourists. A small grocery store is under five minutes away. I arrived late afternoon from canada, so was quite tired so the proximity of the store was great. I would highly recomend staying here and if I get the chance to come again would return here. Also it is in a quiet lovely residential area.
I had a lovely stay at Lisel's place. She has been very friendly and helpful. The perfect beginning to my stay in Sweden.
Lisel was very accommodating; I arrived on short notice and she did everything needed to welcome me. The house is very cosy and has everything one needs. The place is ideally situated with easy access to forest routes and the city centre. Thank you!
Lisel was a very welcoming host. The room was very comfortable, with clean towels, internet and a great breakfast provided. House is in a nice quiet neighbourhood, which is easy walking/biking distance from the centre. Wish I could have stayed longer to chat to Lisel some more.
Highly Recommended !
I am an easy-going person with lots of books in my book shelf and well used hiking boots in the hall. Travelling for me is exploring different parts of the world, off the main tracks. I have lived a few years in North America so I am fluent in English. I have visited some of the big cities over there. Now, I avoid the sky scrapers and prefer packing my hiking boots to countries far away. Or I use them along trails in my own country. Travelling may also mean meeting people from all over the world, in my own home!. And that is what I like being an Airbnb host. It is nice to share space in my own home. I also rent out to students.
My outdoor interests works pretty good with my job as a biologist, botanist and nature guide. And I try to live as enviromentally friendly as I can.
Hope to meet you soon. Since I grew up in Stockholm and have lived in Uppsala for over two decades I will be able to give information on variuos sights in both cities. Besides my interest in the outdoors and literature I love baking, so the bread and the cereal mix for breakfast is home made of course!
Love the thoughts of H.D. Thoreau: Simplicity!
