Very nice house, we really enjoyed our living at Birgit's place. This was a perfect alternative to ordinary hotels.
We had a great time staying here! The home was spacious, with lots of light and great views. Birgit was a great host and was very responsive. She made sure the home was set up for my parents and kids just as we had discussed, and she even left a personalized note with detailed instructions and recommendations for the neighborhood. The location was perfect, with plenty of street parking and easy access to public transportation. The Noe Valley Rec Center down the road was also conveniently located for the kids. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home! The arrival was smooth and easy thanks to the great instructions, and we were all in love with your home once we got inside.
The house is a clean, spacious, beautiful two-story Victorian build -- I love San Francisco for its Victorian architecture and this home is perfect place to experience that.
You can certainly tell that art-lovers live here. The decoration is absolutely beautiful, modern-vintage mix, and so homely. There is a lovely dining area for guests, as well as a beautiful deck which is perfect for a morning coffee. We had more than enough space for three people. The shower also looks out to a beautiful view with a church steeple (since SF is so hilly - there's great views all around the house), which was a great way to start the morning!
Noe Valley is a quaint, quiet neighbourhood that is perfectly located for exploring the city. It's quiet and safe, fantastic for families, and in about ten minutes, you are at great shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc. We had a few breakfasts here and it really is so relaxing. It's perfectly located for hopping on the MUNI into the downtown core -- our journeys were always short, and taxi rides from Downtown were inexpensive if we wanted a quicker journey home at night. I'd been previously recommended other areas to stay in San Francisco but from a safety and relaxation perspective, I will ALWAYS return to Noe Valley now! It's also a super close to drive up to the Twin Peaks which was beautiful at night time.
I couldn't have wished for a better stay - only wish we could have stayed in your beautiful home longer! We will be back next time we are in SF - thank you!
The house is absolutely lovely, just as described, in a family-friendly SF neighborhood. Public transit was available close by as were parks, grocery, and restaurants. The house is in a very hilly part of San Francisco but as described in Brigit's welcome document there are suggested routes to minimize the strain. This was particularly helpful as we were traveling with a toddler.
We were even welcomed to the house with snacks for our boy, wine for mom, and beer for dad! Birgit was very accommodating including having a high chair and crib for our use. It's not often that you see this kind welcome.
The reservation was canceled 81 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We loved Birgit's place! It's stunning!
Stayed there with 2 adults and 2 kids. For us, it would be impossible to find a better place in the city. It's close to a tram stop, a grocery store, some great restaurants, a playground for the kids,...
The house itself looks like on the pictures, like it's decorated for a photo shoot. Everything is well tought-out. Beautiful objects and art on the walls.
There's a lovely terrace and a garden. ( and you can shower while taking a view over the city :-) )
Birgit is very easy to communicate with, friendly and correct.
We can't wait to go back!
