Communication should be improved. We did not feel that we’re home away from home. Unit is not too clean, which needed to improve maintenance. Beddings, such is linens were not provided, needed to ask.

There’s a saying that you can’t really please everybody. As a rule we always make it a point to change bed sheets, blankets and pillow cases after each guest and the case is no different with Rosalinda and company. Even though the sheets and linens are newly cleaned, they still demanded that it be changed again. And as a host who is always after the comfort and pleasure of guests. We readily obliged to all the requests that they made. But there’s a real reason behind Rosalinda’s gripe and that is their refusal to pay the entrance fee of Pico de Loro. She was furious, and with a raised voice claimed that the entrance fees were not posted in the description of the unit which was not the case because all our past guests were able to read our post. It clearly stated the amount and explicitly conveyed that the entrance fee is not included in the unit rental cost. I even informed her through txt that they can enjoy Beach Club Access if they paid the entrance fees in cash and to which she did not complain to. Rosalinda booked the unit in a rush. She made the booking at 10 in the evening and less than 14 hours before the check in period. Maybe she was so busy to read all the unit description. Haste really makes waste. I humbly admit that our unit is not a 5 star hotel but the limitations and description of the place is clearly stated in our Airbnb listing. And clearly, Rosalinda has to pay triple the price at a posh hotel if she wants 5 star accommodation. Thank you.

I would like to clarify the issue regarding Mr Peter Jared’s complaint. Here are the points. 1. After Mr Peter booked the unit. I immediately gave my contact number clearly stated in our Airbnb conversation that he can text or call me anytime for any issues concerning his stay In Pico de Loro. 2. He never informed me that they need to rent a car to bring them from the pavilion (wherever that may be) to the Condo unit. Therefore it didn’t occur to me that they don’t have private car to use. If l was notified about it then I would have assisted them by contacting the caretaker to assist them in hiring a car and the fare clarified. 3. The booking fee was solely for the use of the Condo unit “ONLY” and any other external expense or charges incurred by the guest outside the unit is beyond our control if we are not notified about it in the first place. 4. As to the fee that was charged by the driver that took Mr Peter’s group to the Condo, i guess it is just fair for the driver to charge his services because he has to earn a living too. And if Pico charges 200 for the shuttle service, the difference of “one hundred pesos” would have been easily corrected if things were communicated properly between the hired driver and Mr Jared. 5. The use of the Beach Club facilities was an added bonus that I offered to Mr Peter at “NO EXTRA COST” on his part. A simple thank you would have been great! I have talked to the endorser and was told that they were informed about the second day Beach Club access. This privilege given to Mr Peter’s company is an option that guests may or may not avail of. They can simply refuse it if they want to. 6. Mr. Peter was right. The root cause of everything was a major miscommunication between him and the rest of the people. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to simply ask questions first to clarify any misconceptions before we jump into “assumed” conclusions. All the supposed problems would have been avoided by “talking”. 7. Lastly, it is my opinion that Mr Peter’s 3 star rating and comments were grossly unfair considering the goodwill that I have offered to them. Nobody can solve any problems if they don’t know that there was a problem in the first place. It would help a lot and make a big difference if only I was informed. My phone line was open 24 hours precisely to avoid such problems. Thank you.

Joanne was a fantastic host. She was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We did not have any problems during our two day stay. The room is clean as shown on the pictures and we loved how they designed the room. Highly Recommended.

I have stayed in Joanne's place last week and it started roughly. The previous guests..which I hope will read this, have brought the keys with them when they checked out. Caretaker insisted that its okay to leave our things behind the unit since theres no cases of robbery..😒😒😒…
