Diana's space was awesome. It was clean and open, and had all the food. We were so welcome that we are now staying in her van, which has AC, a luxury this side of the Mississippi, or so we are told. Would definitely stay again.
Diane was definitely a pleaser. She didn't hesitate to ask if she could get food I liked and offered a wide variety of breakfast food options. The bed and room were comfortable. An air purifier is also handy if you need white noise to sleep. There were other guests staying at the same time in the house (and the house does tend to carry noise because of the wood floors), but she does provide locks on the inside and out to make you feel more secure. One note is that she does have 2 cats (if anyone has allergies). The cats were fine for me and no odor was present. There wasn't much room inside the main house to lounge, but she made up for it with a really nicely set up covered back porch/eating area and back yard with a table to eat and lounge chairs to enjoy a peaceful morning. We had fantastic weather the days we visited so that was a treat.
Diana was a stellar host who always always had our stomachs in mind. Fresh fruit and good organic food was available at all times. The house is clean and the backyard has a thriving garden with multiple seating areas - great for dogs.
Diana was a great hoist, house is clean and she takes good care of her lawn and gardens. She has a nice patio area and a swing in the shade. She has two cats and they're well behaved. She even took me for a tour of Lakewood so I would know my way around. If you stay I know she will make you feel at home
Thanks Russ. For the public's awareness, the Cauliflower Soup is an experiment Debra and I did i the Vitamix to see if the cooking of vegetable soup by mixer really worked. As it turned out, the soup was hot, however, we put the wrong ingredients (Spices) in and Russ was the "official" taster. Thanks Russ for being brave!
The reservation was canceled 50 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
