The covered area can be reserved by contacting the Lakewood Parks and Recreation Department or can be used for free on a first-come, first-served basis. The park also offers clean seasonal restrooms and an outdoor shower.
The upper grassy area has tall evergreens that offer shade in the summertime while not interfering with the beach area. My Host did everything to make me feel comfortable in her home, would have loved to stay longer if I could have.
Outside - it was easy to find was the only cheerful little cottage amidst a bunch of old tired ones.
Inside - very neat and clean, both the house and the room I rented.
Room - just as advertised - if missing anything in the advertisement it was the big TV set mounted in the room that you could watch from the bed, and the extensive closet space.
Facilities - Bathroom and kitchen were neat and clean, she kept a stocked refrigerator which she gave me complete access to.
Diana - Warm, friendly,
Again the only bad thing about her place was that I couldn't stay any longer (she even had mints on my pillow!!)
Diana is an awesome host. She made sure everything was perfect for me. Her house is well located and really clean.
Diana est une excellente hôte. Très attentive aux besoins de ses invités. Sa maison est bien située et très propre.
Thank you for a wonderful time during our stay w you. We felt very much at home, and I really loved the garden area as well as her well stocked fridge for our daily breakfast!
Diana went out her way to really make us feel comfortable. And provided fun recommendations to Olympia for the farmer's market on the weekend. It was fun & relaxing for us, as we were planning to drive north to Canada for a short break before heading back to East Coast.
Would definitely recommend her house, she is very nice! Thanks for the great conversations too! Good luck w your business.
Diana was very welcoming, and the room was better than the picture! Staying at Diana's was like staying at a busy friend's house. Everything we needed was provided like magic! I would definitely stay again. In fact, anytime I need to get out of Seattle, I know the perfect quiet spot 4 blocks from the lake!
Diana's space was awesome. It was clean and open, and had all the food. We were so welcome that we are now staying in her van, which has AC, a luxury this side of the Mississippi, or so we are told. Would definitely stay again.
Diane was definitely a pleaser. She didn't hesitate to ask if she could get food I liked and offered a wide variety of breakfast food options. The bed and room were comfortable. An air purifier is also handy if you need white noise to sleep. There were other guests staying at the same time in the house (and the house does tend to carry noise because of the wood floors), but she does provide locks on the inside and out to make you feel more secure. One note is that she does have 2 cats (if anyone has allergies). The cats were fine for me and no odor was present. There wasn't much room inside the main house to lounge, but she made up for it with a really nicely set up covered back porch/eating area and back yard with a table to eat and lounge chairs to enjoy a peaceful morning. We had fantastic weather the days we visited so that was a treat.
Diana was a stellar host who always always had our stomachs in mind. Fresh fruit and good organic food was available at all times. The house is clean and the backyard has a thriving garden with multiple seating areas - great for dogs.
