Janice was such a nice host - Very thoughtful, informative and caring. We enjoyed the quiet time we had, to pull in the natural beauty of Maui. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

My husband and I had the most enjoyable stay at Janice's Green Bamboo room. I can't say enough about the house, room, comfort, views and the angelic Janice. She had everything we needed for our stay and venture to Hana. We used the beach towels and cooler bag, apple-bananas, fresh banana bread, fruit and other items from the stocked frig. The bed was so comfortable and soft!! Janice had an Anniversary sign up on the wall for us and made sure we had any information needed. We had a lovely breakfast on the patio overlooking a beautiful morning. Janice spent the morning with us teaching us traditions of hula dancing, cutting coconuts, cleaning sugar cane and taking pictures! We had so much fun in our 2 short days. I read wonderful reviews about the Bamboo room and I they were all accurate with the high level of hospitality. We hope we get to visit again some day!! THANK YOU Janice for the love and piece of heaven you provided. You're an angel!

This is a real gem! The most scenic ocean views, quiet neighborhood, and the best hospitality you could hope for. Great jumping off point for the road to Hana, or really any number of places on the island. Janice is a very sweet lady and we felt the true Aloha spirit from her. Mahalo!

The room and property were lovely down to all the details. The kitchenette was extremely well stocked with all items you might need and great breakfast fixings. Janice was a sweet host who gave us wonderful recommendations and shared some Hawaiian culture and traditions with us. I would definitely recommend this place and will return if I ever have the chance.

I have travelled quite a bit over the past few years but my family and I have never felt so much at home anywhere as here. Aunty Janice took care of every little detail to make sure our trip to Maui was memorable. We learnt a lot abou Hawaii from her and we're touched by her care and warmth. She made sure that there was beach gear and even toys for my 5 yr old, taught us Hawaiian dance and guided us to some awesome local spots. Fresh fruit from her garden was delicious and I even got to cut open a coconut. She is an awesome person and a great host.look forward to staying with her again in future.

I am a local Maui lady, born and raised here in upcountry Haiku. I love living here, and love all my neighbors and friends in this community. I truly believe Maui No Ka Oi, which means Maui is the best! It is the most beautiful island, offering the most diversity of terrain and weather. My favorite thing to do is watching my plants and trees flower and bear fruit. I love discovering new fruits, flowers, and plants, and learning how to grow them. I am a mother of 6 children who have all flown out of the nest, and are grown, getting married, and having children. I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, Kealia who's 5 and Wailea who's 2, who live on the Big Island. I love flying over to visit them! Most of all, I love Jesus, and He loves me! "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!"
