We had a very warm welcome at Caroles and Shermans house. They are really nice people and they do everything to make you feel home. The room and the bathroom were very cozy and clean! In the evening we enjoyed a nice conversation in their beautiful backyard and in the morning we had a delicious breakfast together with Carole and Sherman. We would definitely recommend this place!
I felt very welcomed by Carole and Sherman! They live in a nice neighborhood very convenient to Yosemite.
We had a great time with Carol and Sherman. We really enjoyed the nice conversations with them and they took care of us very well. The breakfast was delicious! Absolutely a must-stay when you're visiting Yosemite National Park. They make your Yosemite experience even better! 5* plus :)
We had such a wonderful experience with Carole & Sherman!! Their house was charming & cute, Just about 4-5 miles from the town on Oakhurst, close to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, & easy to find. They were really prompt with communication before our arrival. There was a parking spot for our car in front of the house. They welcomed us in the home warmly and their 3 dogs were just adorable!! The room & bathroom was comfortable, clean and cozy. The breakfast next day was delicious as well and it was just lovely to sit there at the breakfast table & chat with both of them and share some stories & laughter. Absolutely loved our stay with Carole & Sherman and would highly recommend them!!
Carole and Sherman are awesome hosts. From the moment we walked into their cozy mountain home we felt almost at home. They gave us great tips what to do in the region and were really interested in us. We had great conversations - and a lot of fun just watching their cute dogs. To top everything off, the breakfast was just delicious and really homemade. This is how Airbnb hosts should be like!
Thank you Moritz & Lisa for the lovely review. We enjoyed your visit very much and the meal together was awesome... so happy you thought of it! (I neglected to ask you to write down the ingredients of the salad and sauce for the potatoes.) They were very delicious. It was fun playing cards with you too... we hope you will return someday. Take care!
Carole & Sherman
The accommodations were absolutely far and above what we expected--very clean, cozy and quiet.
To top it off was the warm and welcoming nature of both Carole and Sherman. A truly lovely couple with generous hearts and wonderful hosts! I highly recommend this listing - quite a gem of a place!

We moved to Ahwahnee from Southern California in 1998. Sherman is a retired plumber, and I am a retired School director. I also worked part time as a church secretary/bookkeeper after I retired. We love our beautiful mountain area, and love to share it with others. We have three small dogs, and five outdoor cats. We always enjoy meeting our guests.
