Carole & Sherman are just 2 amazing persons and such perfect hosts. They love having company and doing everything possible to make you feel home ... Airbnb spirit ;)
I spend a night at their lovely place with my best friend and we had a great moment with them. The guestroom is exactly what you're looking for to enjoy the area during the day and the breakfast ... just delicious.
It's hard to rate a stay with Carole and Sherman, since it seems true that most guests leave feeling a bit like family. They were delightful, down to earth, funny, engaging, above and beyond hospitable hosts. We kind of fell in love with them, and their three little black pups ;) It wasn't quite as close to Yosemite as we thought, but perhaps about as close as one can get without camping inside the park, and definitely worth the stay. We would love to see them again, with or without a trip to Yosemite. Thank you, Carole and Sherman!
Carole and Sherman were very accommodating. They made breakfast and offered home made cookies and zucchini bread, their dogs were fun to play with. All in all a real good stay!
Carole and Sherman are great hosts and restore our faith in airbnb! We arrived awfully late, but they still welcomed us and we had a wonderful sleep, followed by delicious waffles and great laughs. It really felt like a home and we wish we would have stayed longer, because Carole and Sherman really want to be hosts and get to know you and the place you're from.
To be perfect hosts just comes natural to Carole & Sherman. They love to have company and they love to do everything to make you feel comfortable. Their home is lovely and the guestroom perfect with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious! But the thing we liked best were the stories they told us - real fun!
An absolute treasure find . Loved every moment we spent with Carole and Sherman . Thank you so much for having us ! Their little abode tucked in a private space and Iam so happy that we chose them on the listing . Our first Airbnb experience couldn't have been any better !! Thank you !!
Carole and Sherman prepared for us a wonderful place, where we spent last two days of our California trip. We had with them and their 3 cute dogs (each dog has its special mentality) nice time in the amazing countryside. We discussed with them during our morning breakfasts and evenings a lot of different and interesting topics and had an opportunity to see their deep life experience. We are sure we will come to their wonderful house full of energy at least once again!
We moved to Ahwahnee from Southern California in 1998. Sherman is a retired plumber, and I am a retired School director. I also worked part time as a church secretary/bookkeeper after I retired. We love our beautiful mountain area, and love to share it with others. We have three small dogs, and five outdoor cats. We always enjoy meeting our guests.
