We offer a quaint apartment situated over a fun and lively Irish pub that has a well-appointed bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a separate parlor perfect for unwinding and relaxing. A private bathroom with a turn-of-the-century cast-iron claw-foot bathtub/shower. A private front porch with breathtaking sunrises over Matanzas Bay, the St. Augustine Inlet, and Atlantic Ocean. In the evening watch the town transform and come alive while you enjoy cold adult beverages sent up from downstairs.
The space
You’ve got the entire place to yourself. But remember, there’s a busy pub downstairs. Sure, it is often quiet and tranquil. But on weekend nights, we have live music and there is a ton of fun going on in the pub. We have made every effort to keep the suite as quiet as possible for your enjoyment, but there is minimal noise.

Free parking in the City Garage per day (right across from us) (There is security in garage 24 hrs a day) We assume no responsibility for your vehicle or belongings.
2 Sandwiches from Ann O’Malley’s per stay
6 Adult beverages from Ann O’Malley’s Irish Pub downstairs per stay.
To add a little more fun, we’ve installed an old-fashioned room service system:
a bucket, rope and pulley take your order to and from the pub downstairs.

**Please understand, Pub Life is located above a busy pub. The pub has live music 6 nights a week. We play Trivia on Monday and Thursday nights. Friday, Saturday and holiday nights, the pub does not close until 2 a.m. We have 5 TVs in the pub and always have sports on. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded lodging experience, we can make several recommendations. If you are looking for the opportunity to experience a stay unlike any other, Pub Life is it!

As a special thank you, we offer a 10% discount on room rates to military personnel, fire fighters, EMTs and police year round. Please present your ID at check in to obtain the discount. We will refund your 10% through Airbnb after check in.
Guest access
You will have the suite to yourself along with your private front porch. We try as hard as possible to respect your privacy, but on a very rare occasion one of the staff from downstairs my need to access the suite to retrieve supplies for the pub. This is on a very rare occasion. There is also 24 hour assistance should you need it.
Other things to note
Pub Life is an extremely small property where every guest reservation made is important to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation at least seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival.
In the unlikely event that you can not or do not cancel within seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival, your reservation will be charged for 50% of your stay. The full reservation will be charged for no notice of cancellation. Early departures will be charged for the full stay. Please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your reservation. ****PLEASE NOTE**** The nightly rate INCLUDES a local county bed tax. Airbnb does not collect this tax in our county for the host as it does the state sales tax.
Check in is at 3:00pm, we will do our best to accommodate an early check in request but we can not guarantee an early check in is possible. We have a strict 11:00am checkout policy unless you have made prior arrangements at least 24 hrs in advance for a later checkout time. You will be sent your personalized door code within 24 hrs of your arrival. The code will expire at 11:00am the day of your checkout unless you have made prior arrangements for a late checkout. Should you miss checkout time without prior arrangements there will be an additional $50.00 charge.
