Kibera slum and its environ is a safest place around and one thing i love about my neighbor hood is the hospitality of the people around show to the visitors. people are so welcoming and that makes you feel at home. The happiness of the kids shouting ''how are you'' ( the only English word some know:)to the visitor.
The convenient mode of transport is using the buses or ''matatu'' The local name for the van or Nissan. with this one can move from the city to kibera without any hustle or use a taxi/ cab which becomes very convenient as well depending on someones preference
