  • I booked it for Peter who says "Aidan made me feel very much at home, chatting in his living room with the football in the background and a sample of his home made beer, before he suggested I get to the (modern, very nice canal side) pub before they stopped serving food. The apartment is in a new development area with a well designed small central shopping area and good transport connections."

  • Aidan greeted us right on time when we arrived in Dublin. He was a gracious host and let us use the kitchen and living room as well. The only thing Is that the washer and dryer have somewhat complicated instructions. Otherwise, Aidan is very nice and knows a lot about the world and gives great advice about where to go! There is also a great park behind the house if you like to go running.

  • Great host with a nice room! Location keeps you just outside the city with local eateries and stores nearby! Aiden was down to earth and a pleasant conversation!

  • As sixty year old Americans who seemed to have difficulty finding the correct bus after we arrived in Dublin, Aidan was waiting outside his place when we finally showed up! He seemed genuinely concerned. Aidan has a good grasp of what to see and avoid in Dublin; he knows his city. He also was very helpful with both bus and train info. Aidan was personable and well-read; he has a really broad grasp of a variety of subjects. We were grateful after all the road food to be able to use his kitchen; he put no restrictions on our coming and going. We enjoyed our interaction with him, but he seemed willing to let us be if that was our desire. Ideal host, in our opinion. Good value for the money.

  • Très bonne expérience chez Aidan qui est très amical et serviable. Il nous a beaucoup aidé lors de notre séjour, et nous a même réservé le taxi !
La chambre est confortable et le quartier est très calme.

  • I left a more detailed response in the first one, but once again, Aidan is awesome, is very accommodating, and when we came back to Dublin after two weeks, it was like coming back to family.

  • My husband and I had a fantastic four-night stay at Aidan's apartment. Aidan is an excellent host and made us feel at home. Not only is he very friendly and laid back, he is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us great suggestions of places to visit. The apartment itself looks just like it does in the pictures. Perfect size for a couple. We enjoyed being able to use his kitchen for a few meals because eating out every meal can get expensive :) The location of the apartment was very convenient- very close to the bus and train stops and a short walk to the beautiful Phoenix Park (check it out if you can- we saw dozens of adorable deer roaming in the fields!)

We hope to be able to visit Aidan again in the future!

  • The neighborhood is very nice, especially to feel like you're really in Ireland and not just the touristy parts of Dublin. It is a little far, just as a warning, but for us that was perfect. Aidan is very awesome: we stayed with him twice in our trip. He gave us maps, is easy to talk to, and even stayed up for us when we returned to Dublin on a late flight.

  • We didn't get much time to know Aidan, as we didn't stay long in Dublin. We had a pleasant stay at his place.
