Lovely spacious double room with a own separate shower and toilet in a 3 storey modern architecture house near River Shannon and River Suck, very good for angling tourists.
We have a spacious double room available for an introductory airbnb rate. Our place is located in a quiet area near the River Shannon (7km) and River Suck, well away from noise and traffic. Only 15 Minutes drive to Ballinasloe and Portumna, to Galway 45 Minutes drive. This very large and stylish room on the first floor of our 3 storey House has a own separate shower and toilet. It has cable TV, fast wifi and exercise equipment. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room, and spectacular views towards the Baptist Church and Court House and weider country landscape. For Anglers there are facilities (Fridge and Freezer & filleting table) available.

Nearby (4.5 km), the river Shannon (Meelick) with good fishing. The boat rental in Banagher and Portumna can be reached in about 15 minutes. Clonfert Cathedral is about 7 km, Birr Castle is about 30 minutes away. The monastery of Clonmacnoise is about 40 minutes away.
Danke an Joachim für den netten Empfang. Ein schönes Zimmer, ein geräumiges Bad, ein leckeres Frühstück. Alles tiptop! Gerne wären wir länger geblieben, aber der Zeitplan unserer Tour gab nicht mehr her. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, eine Katzensprung zur Ortsmitte mit Laden und Pubs, ideal für Touren in der Shannon-Gegend.

Joachim is een goede gastheer die ons hartelijk heeft ontvangen. De slaapkamer en de badkamer waren mooi ruim en sfeervol ingericht. Er kon gebruik gemaakt worden van een eigen zitkamer. Wij hebben er echter voor gekozen om in de grote gezellige keuken van Joachim te verblijven.
Het dorpje Eyrecourt is klein en rustig en er is geen restaurant in het dorp. Maar dat is geen probleem: Joachim heeft een uitstekende vier gangen maaltijd voor ons bereid.
