I stayed in magnificent Kauai for two weeks and spent my last three nights at Neil & Sharon's beautiful home. I can honestly say that the lanai in the jungle home is one of my top three favorite places on the island. Laying on the hammock at night in the rain is an experience I will long for for a long time to come.
The room is lovely, the bed is huge and comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. Neil and Sharon left countless candles and fresh flowers making the place even more perfect than imaginable. They were wonderful, friendly and informative hosts and it was a true pleasure chatting with them.
I was blown away by their generous offer to let us check out late. I was also blown away by what a cuddle bug tommy the cat is.
Mahalo Neil, Sharon & Tommy for a wonderful stay.
Great place to stay!
Neil gave us great tips for great places to see and places to eat. The fried calemari at the Beach House was delicious. The place was off the road and very quiet. We loved it. We highly recommend staying here.
The house was designed as a tree house, very beautiful and lovely surroundings.
Host cortese e (email hidden)anza arredata semplicemente e molto suggestiva.
I had the best time staying at the Jungle Studio, Neil and Sharon were very accommodating and made me feel like I was right at home. I would recommend staying here over anywhere else!

About the Host, Neil And Sharon
Thirty year resident of Kauai who has built various simple Balinese/Polynesian/ Swiss Family Robinson style timber homes in beautiful island settings.
First came to Kauai in 1980 as part of long world wide surf odyssey - was on his way to Australia, but fell in love with the island, the way of life and spirit of aloha.
Met South African born wife, Sharon, in 2003 on the island. They married on the beach in Poipu in 2005.
Both love the island, love hearing the varied fascinating stories people live, and both love to read and travel!
