The space
The beautiful, aspen-framed Kalamaja is located in the immediate vicinity of Tarvaalankoski and is a great destination for year-round tourism, for example, for hikers, anglers, and boaters.
In Kalamaja, there is sleeping space for 6 people in a tightly arranged group on the loft, and there is also a fold-out bed for two people downstairs. However, the cabin can comfortably accommodate 4 people, allowing everyone to have comfortable sleeping arrangements upstairs. Steep stairs to the upper floor.
The outdoor sauna is wood-fired, and hot water is provided from the water tank connected to the stove. The water for the sauna is supplied via a hose from the faucet on the outside wall of the cabin. The sauna does not have shower facilities.
Rentals are provided without linens, so the renter must bring their own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and towels. The tenant is also responsible for the final cleaning, which means that the cabin and sauna must be cleaned to at least the same standard as they were at the start of the rental period. If final cleaning is not performed or is performed to an inadequate standard, we will charge a fee of €100. The rental price includes firewood (for the sauna, the yard fire pit, and the fireplace), electricity, and water + wastewater.
