This was the perfect place to stay for my solo vacation - close enough to town for activities, shopping, amenities, etc but at a nice elevation for cool and comfortable evenings. Keli was a great host - easy to contact and had lots of tips for things to see and do. The space was just like the photos, relaxing, clean, comfortable, with fluffy towels and lovely view of the sunset. If I'm lucky enough to return to The Big Island, I will definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay! Our First Appartment on the hawaiian islands without any bugs:)
Keli was a really nice host, too!
Keli was there to guide us down a challenging driveway, and helped us bring our belongings into the apartment. She was very friendly and even left us a box of candy to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary. The apartment was lovely, with new furnishings. It is compact but complete, and the bed was very comfortable.
5 stars! Keli was amazing and always made sure that my wife and I were enjoying our trip. She even gave us some wine and a hand written card because it was our honeymoon. Can't wait Till the next time we visit the island!
The Cozy Hideaway looks just like the pictures on Airbnb, and was comfortable and clean. Keli was very welcoming and provided us with a list of places to visit in the area, which were great recommendations. In addition, she has a "Big Island Revealed" guide book at the apartment that we used the entire time. She even provided sunscreen--very useful for those who forgot to pack it! Unfortunately we had bad weather while we were there, so the sky was too cloudy to enjoy the gorgeous sunset view -- but if you have better weather than us (which is likely), I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Keli for a great stay!
“Cozy Hideaway with Amazing View” matches the truth – the pictures and description in Keli´s online presentation are accurately described. The studio is very private and quiet, located in a heritage street with historical surroundings and at the same time in a comfortable distance for any kind of trip you can make on the Island.
Keli is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The dogs make you feel like coming home. We enjoyed our stay and will surely recommend it!
Keli made us feel welcome and at home right away. The apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was accurately represented in her online description. The location was quiet and private. It is a comfortable distance from the hustle and bustle of Kailua (about four miles) but convenient to the coast at the same time. The airport is also an easy drive away. This will be our first choice if we go back to the Big Island. Thanks for a great experience, Keli.
Aloha! I'm Keli. I grew up in Kona and love this town and the Big Island! While I moved away twice, it always calls me home…being a part of this community is a really special experience and visitors can feel the aloha from the moment they step off the plane. If I'm able to share any knowledge or connect visitors to the best surf instructor, shave ice place, or coffee shop…that's my goal! I love surfing, good books, great coffee, ahi poke, and bakeries. A hui hou!
