Carole's studio is absolutely amazing - in every possible way. It's clean, well-equipped,
charming and cosy, the bed is very comfortable, we slept great after long days all over Paris. The location is perfect, everything you need is just around the corner. The Marais area is lively and lovely, we walked nearly everywhere, as the weather was great. Carole is a great host, she was very nice and friendly and communicated well. Everything was easy-going and hassle-free. I totally recommend staying at her place and will definitely try to come back next time I am in Paris!
We had a very nice stay in caroles apartment, lying perfectly located in a cozy neighbourhood and close to everything. Everything went perfectly and we had been told everything to do in advance since carole wasn't in France at the time, so that was really good. The apartment itself is very cozy, a little bit small, but it has everything you need for a stay in Paris! So do not hesitate to book your stay at caroles apartment.
Carole´s house is in a perfect location!
All was clean and nice.
The house is smaller than what it looks in the pictures, but more than enough for 2 people.
The only problem was that the window on top of the bed did not close correctly and there was light in the morning, but I spoke to Carole who said she will fix it. The stairs that lead upstairs can be complicated for a older person.
In the end, it was great! Thank you!
My boyfriend and I stayed in Paris for 4 days/3 nights and found this apartment and it was perfect. When we first enquired about it Carole's respond was within the hour and we quickly locked in our stay. Perfect location, we walked everywhere. As it was very cold in Paris while we were there the heating in the apartment was great. Everything that had said it would be, it was and more! Even worked off those pain au chocolat getting up and down those stairs!
My stay in the apartment of Carole was perfect.
It is really center of Marias area and few steps from the St paul station . the space is enough for one people or a couple .really well equipped especially the bath room and the hot water is perfect .
the room is calm and the view from the window is nice as well .
We found Carole's studio loft to be perfect for our stay in Paris. Located in arguably one of the most picturesque areas of the city, her studio is nestled amongst beautiful streets, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Wonderfully appointed, Carole's loft features a very functional kitchen, a more than adequate bathroom/shower-tub and a quaint ladder to a comfortable bed. Window and skylight views of Paris rooftops are wonderful. The six flight of stairs to her apartment provided us with some necessary exercise after some delicious sampling of the local cuisine! Convenient to a small grocery store, delicious chocolate & macaroon shop, local bakeries, cheese shops and the metro, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Carole's promptness in answering our questions about arrival and departure details helped to make our stay in Paris most memorable. Without hesitation we recommend her loft to you!
The apartment is perfect for one or a couple. Small but with all you n eed except the tv. There are 91 easy steps to arrive and no lift in the building.
The location is perfect: 100 meters from the Metro, 15 minutes walking to arrive to Notre Dame or the Pompidou Centre.
A supermarket close the door and many cafe and restaurants around the Street.
If I will be again in Paris, for sure I will try to book again this apartment.
My mom and I stayed in Carole's apartment for eight days. The apartment was being cleaned when we arrived, but Carole had let us know in advance so that we were prepared to drop off our baggage and get something to eat while the cleaning was finished.
Just a few doors down from Franprix and a five minute walk from Les Philosophes and L'as du Falafel, the apartment is well-situated and the area feels very safe. We especially enjoyed all the amenities Carole provided: an electric kettle (and many tea options), a refrigerator, a strong hair dryer, a small heater in the bathroom, and good wifi. Climbing the six flights of stairs to the apartment was intimidating at first, but posed no problem for us. My mom had some trouble getting up and down from the bed, which is lofted, but I think the skylight's rooftop view and seeing the Big Dipper at night made up for it.
The shower has excellent water pressure and the water stays hot for two people to shower in a row.
Carole checked in with us to make sure we had arrived safely and that everything was in order. She was very helpful and quickly responded to our emails. I highly recommend staying here!
We had a wonderful time in Carole's place. The location could not be better and the apartment made us feel welcome. Carole also provided us with great information about the area and made our experience even better. I only have positive things to say about this place and even the hike up the stairs was just want we needed after a great meal and a bottle of wine in the restuarants near by. Thank You.
Carole's place is all about location. It is right in the heart of an amazing neighborhood, Le Marais, it's walking distance to so much great shopping and food, and the Metro is right there, so you have easy access to the rest of the city as well. The apartment is cute, cosy, and I felt safe there. This was a concern for me as a woman traveling alone. Before I arrived I had a weird, I guess you could call it miscommunication with Carole via email. I asked her about the security of the apartment and she got really offended which took me by surprise. It ended up being fine, the place has a very secure lock (and fancy key) that you can opt to engage when you are in or out. It sticks and you have to fight with it, but I got it to work most of the time. And, I don't know what the AirBNB norm is when it comes to cleaning products, but absolutely nothing was stocked. The washing powder, windex, garbage bags, paper towels, even toilet cleaner were there but empty, and for my two week stay, I was left with one roll of toilet paper. Not a huge deal, but I did spend around 12 Euros replacing things I was going to leave behind mostly full. The internet worked really well though which is a huge plus for me. The apartment is small but charming and while I agree that it could use a deep cleaning, for the price and location it was just what I expected, no more, no less. Another plus, the views and light are lovely and hearing the rain on the skylight was divine.
