Our three bedroom home is a fantastic place to experience New Orleans. We are located in the heart of the Lower Garden District at the edge of Central City, 2 blocks from St. Charles, Parades, Restaurants, Bars, and shops. Second lines pass right by the house on most Sundays. There is a beautiful Live Oak in the front of our Victorian and our neighborhood is quiet.

The space
Our family, my husband, son, and I just purchased this house in 2015. We love it and the neighborhood. We renovated the home and it has brand new everything! It's great for a family or good friends to relax and enjoy the city. Zulu passes right in front of the house on Mardi Gras Day morning. It's 2 blocks from the parades, the streetcar, restaurants, shops, bars, and hotels. The Ponchartrain Hotel is basically in our backyard which is great for rooftop cocktails. The Jackson Street bus line is also right in front of our house, we are on the corner of Jackson and Brainard. The light in the house is amazing and we don't try to block it. If you are guests who require black out curtains then we suggest bringing eye masks.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house. Including all three bedrooms. We love it when people can enjoy our city and home in our absence.

Other things to note
The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and is under trees making it super chill and relaxed. We also have honey bees, a veggie garden, and a tree house.

Neighborhood highlights

Brainard street is the border between the Lower Garden District and Central City. We are located on a small 4 block street that is tree lined with Live Oaks and Crepe Myrtles. Their is a beautiful Live Oak in the front yard and we know all our neighbors. We are steps from restaurants, bars, shops, and more! Bloody Mary's in the morning at Igor's and Sunset Cocktails at the Hot Tin Bar at the Pontchartrain Hotel.
