The space
Nestled on beautiful Rushford Lake, this quaint lake cottage is the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway or a trip with one or two couples. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath, and offers all the essentials for an easy, enjoyable stay, including a full kitchen, laundry, Wi-Fi, and plenty of parking.

What makes this place special is the location. You’ll be right on the lake with your own private dock, so you can swim, boat, fish, or simply enjoy the view from the large deck overlooking the water. There’s also a yard and firepit for evenings outside after a day on the lake.

Guests are welcome to bring their own boat, or for an easy all-in-one lake vacation, you can rent one of our pontoon boats directly through us for $1,800 per week.

This cottage does share space with our working marina, so we like to be upfront about that. During the summer, there is some daytime activity nearby, and this may not be the right fit for guests looking for complete peace and quiet all day long. That said, the marina closes at 5 PM, and evenings tend to be much more relaxed. For many guests, the convenience of being right on the water and having direct access to boating more than makes up for the daytime marina setting.

Rushford Lake is a great place to unplug and enjoy a more laid-back lake experience. It’s secluded, scenic, and ideal for guests who want to spend their time outside on the water rather than in the middle of a busy tourist destination.

This home is best suited for families, couples, and guests looking for a comfortable lake stay, not a party house. Pets may be considered with prior approval.

If you’re looking for an honest, cozy lake cottage with direct water access, great outdoor space, and the option to rent a boat right on site, this is a wonderful way to enjoy Rushford Lake.

We are currently renovating this cottage. We are updating the bathroom, bedrooms, and adding AC units throughout the home. Renovations will be complete by June 2026.

Guest access
There is a basement with living space, but it is not accessible to guests at this time. Guests can use the entire house (other than basement) and outdoor area, which includes the dock, boat slip, fire pit and back deck.
