Welcome to Ryes and Shine, a beautifully refreshed 3-bedroom, 3-bath lakeview cottage now under new ownership and management, perfectly located along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Ideal for a family vacation, romantic getaway, or bourbon trail weekend, this charming retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and resort-style relaxation.
Unwind on the private back deck, where you’ll find a hot tub, comfortable patio furniture, and glowing Edison string lights—perfect for relaxing under the stars after a day at the lake or exploring the Bourbon Trail. Enjoy beautiful lake and marina views from the main back deck, with the marina just minutes from the cottage. You can also take in peaceful views from the private upstairs deck off the master suite.
Located directly across from the resort community pool, guests can also enjoy pool views from the front patio and upstairs front balcony.
Ryes and Shine is also ideally located near some of the area’s best attractions. Taylorsville Lake Marina is just minutes away, Taylorsville Lake Dam is only a few miles from the cottage, and Taylorsville Lake State Park is just a quick 10-minute drive, making it easy to enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and all the beauty the area has to offer.
Inside, the cottage has been thoughtfully updated with all new bedding and fresh towels and is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire Ryes and Shine cottage during their stay, including all 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, and all private outdoor spaces.
Enjoy exclusive access to the private back deck, featuring the hot tub, patio seating, and relaxing lake and marina views. Guests can also enjoy the private upstairs deck off the master suite, as well as the front patio and upstairs front balcony overlooking the resort community pool.
You’ll also have access to the shared resort pool, located directly across from the cottage, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim just steps away.
The cottage is conveniently located just minutes from Taylorsville Lake Marina, a short drive to Taylorsville Lake State Park, and only a few miles from Taylorsville Lake Dam, giving guests easy access to boating, fishing, hiking, and local attractions along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

The resort community pool is shared with other guests and owners and may be seasonal depending on the time of year and resort schedule.
The cottage is conveniently located just minutes from Taylorsville Lake Marina, only a few miles from Taylorsville Lake Dam, and about a 10-minute drive to Taylorsville Lake State Park, making it a great home base for boating, fishing, hiking, and outdoor adventures.
The private hot tub is for guest use only. Please supervise children at all times.
As this cottage is under new ownership and management, guests can enjoy thoughtful updates throughout the home, including all new bedding and fresh towels for a clean, comfortable stay.
If you’re bringing a boat, trailer, or multiple vehicles, please be sure to review parking availability and resort guidelines in advance. Boat parking is not permitted in the drive per resort rules but you can park it in the large parking lot, within the gated community, which is located next to the cottage.
