It is perfect to experience the everyday life of Porto, from traditional streets to the genuine authentic portuguese cuisine.
The apartment is extremely quiet and is a short walk away from the area of restaurants and bars and the main historical monuments of the city as well as the Douro River.
It is located just 5 minutes away from the Avenida dos Aliados.
"MUXIMA" is ideal for those who want to discover the historic center of Porto on foot, and, for anyone who wants to visit the cities of Guimarães and Braga, the São Bento train station is only 10 minutes away. And for those who come by car, there are several public parking garages only 2 minutes away.
This apartment is new but with the detail of having preserved its fabulous ceiling of traditional Portuguese style. It has a modern kitchen with fridge, stove, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and all utensils to allow guests to prepare their own meals. It is equipped with a washing machine and essentials like café, tea, salt and pepper, olive oil, vinegar and some cleaning products.
The bathroom has free toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower, body lotion and dental kit), toilet paper, towels and a hairdryer.
The apartment provides all the comforts of a home away from home and is equipped with flat-screen cable TV (80 channels) Wi-Fi connection with free internet access and a welcome small bottle of the finest Port wine.

A 5 minutes walk from the apartment will lead you to the area of the Galerias Paris, where you can find the famous Torre dos Clérigos and one of the most beautiful libraries in the world – The Lello. Additionally, there you can find good restaurants and shops, and the best nightlife in Porto.
Neighborhood: Baixa (Downtown)
The downtown of Porto is intersected by streets almost entirely dedicated to shopping and restoration. Its main center is the street of Santa Catarina. There, it is possible to find the oldest typical shops, bakeries and cafes in Porto, such as the famous Café Majestic and pastry Atenéia.
In addition, there are the oldest bookstores that live healthily with the large and modern libraries, small shops specializing in art, design, gourmet food, seam and antiques. Theatres as the Teatro Rivoli, Coliseu do Porto and Teatro Nacional de São João, are also located in the city center.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, only in the balcony.

About the Host, Ana
I consider myself an organized and punctual person, who combines a taste for traveling and meeting different people and cultures with the world of the arts, specifically dance, music and film. This multidisciplinary and versatility makes me a person motivated by challenges that seeks to focus on creativity.
My favorite hobbies are riding a bike by the Douro river in a sunny afternoon,going to the cinema.
