Flexible check in and check out
The beautiful and perfectly located apartment is the perfect location for visiting Florence. Open the door and walk out to the center of the city - a few minutes by foot to just about any place you want to go. And with a supermarket close by, you can get some water (or even better - wine, cheese and other snacks) and take a relaxing break from the crowds.
Finding the apartment was easy, and someone was waiting for us at the door to help us in and show us around - very straight forward.
The stay would have been perfect but for two things:
1. One of the AC units was broken, and the other was struggling to cool a bedroom. Unfortunately, keeping the windows open invites mosquitoes to visit. This meant hot nights and less than ideal sleep.
2. no WiFi (broken)
Location location location! This apartment is in a perfect location, that was disappointing on many levels. first of all, the woman who met us with the keys complained that we were late on both arrival and check out. She was unfriendly and spoke with neither English nor Italian. The Wi-Fi did not work the entire time we were there. The elevator did not work well and we got stuck in it once. The fan was broken and everything was very run down. The shower was tiny and after taking a shower the entire floor was soaking wet because the curtain didn't work. The TV a 7x7 box which was older than my 17 daughter, did not work the entire time. There was air conditioning in the living room and one bedroom, but they did not work well. There was no air conditioning in my daughters room and the fan in that room was broken. Only one light in the master bedroom worked. When we arrived at the towels were wet and not ready for use. During this trip we have stayed at 4 air B&Bs and this was by far the worst.
If you are looking for a place to crash in a great location and don't care about any amenities this is the place for you.
I think that with a little extra effort on the owners part, the apartment and would have some potential. There is not even one picture on the wall(there is one on the table but it was not hanging up) also, there is a mirror but even that was not hung. In our opinion, if the owner showed more care and put a bit more effort into making her guests comfortable, this place could be an enjoyable stay. It was not for us.
Hello Clara 1rst just wanted to say that for us the first tine that i did not like our stay No communication at all with you No internet, No one to explain in 2/3 words Joe to settle In apopart No hot water In the morning Really not good for Airb b b community Dominique i have an air b b In Paris..
The location was great and very convenient to everything. Hosts were very friendly and accomidating. Very nice.
Amazing apartment in the center of Florence, literally a five minute walk from most of the main sites. Even with four people, the apartment was the roomiest we stayed in during our entire trip to Italy. Clara was a great host, even getting me a taxi when we got off at the wrong station. There is a limit on wifi, but the public square right outside has it for free, so don't let that deter you from this amazing property!
