  • The Georgian house and Mill is the most gorgeous spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at the BnB there. The accommodation was adorable and very comfortable. The brekky provided was more than we could desire. We were intrigued by the flour mill and its history. We loved walking around the property and the surrounding area, everywhere we looked there was beautiful scenery and we took lots of photos. Tara and Anthony were friendly, informative and most helpful. We loved the animals as well. The location of this property is very central to great things to do. The nearby town, Durrow is gorgeous. We also drove down to Waterford through Kilkenny, and round the coast to Dunmore East and back along to Dungarvan, then back to the mill via Carrick-on-Suir. We would highly recommend this BnB.

  • I had a GREAT time staying at Tara's!!! The whole property is gorgeous, serene, wonderful. I don't have enough words to express how perfect I found it. I had my own space and freedom combined with the warmth of open arms a great cup of tea. I highly recommend everyone to stay with Tara, and explore the wonderful village of Durrow. I can't wait to go back again.

  • We had a fabulous time at Tara's b&b ......even though we only stayed one night..... The main house, self contained unit, mill and gardens are absolutely awesome. Tara was the perfect host and very interesting to talk to,she gave us heaps of advice on what to do and where to go, and fed us a beautiful breakfast. The unit is clean, comfortable and warm AND the muffins were YUMMMMM thanks Tara. Walking around the gardens with the dogs was fun. An amazing place to stay, I would absolutely recommend Tara's place to anyone who wants a stay in the countryside

I moved here with my husband Anthony in 2008 after we had spent quite a lot of time travelling for his career in sailing Stars, and now we live here with our children, dogs and horses we work from home and have been restoring the mill and outbuildings , - we live in the main house and offer any guest as much privacy as they would like - but also like to welcome guests as family. We both have a great interest in cooking & food, have a thriving vegetable garden and aim to provide most of our vegetables from it; we love sports in general, rugby sailing polo and hunting in particular, and would be described as people people !!
