I stayed with my boyfriend at CC & Tun's place and we really enjoyed our time there. The place is private, the bed was very comfortable, the room was cozy and clean, and the bathroom was clean too and stocked with all we needed.
The neighborhood was safe and quiet and the location was convenient to find public transportation to downtown/(website hidden) & Tun were very nice and friendly with us and always answered all our questions very fast. Thanks a lot! If we come back to Chicago, we'll definitely stay at CC & Tun's place!
Great location, move neighborhood and about a mile from Mariano's a grocery store and coffee shop.
This just was about right for us, we were visiting our new born Grandkid, they live about 2 miles away.
Very clean room, large walk in closet and a great shower head. Street parking can be a chance but, it's the same anywhere in Chicago.
Would I stay here again? Sure!
This has been a great airbnb experience! Even though we never met CC, Tun made sure that we had everything we needed. Before arrival Tun checked in with us to make sure we were on the way and sent us self check in instructions (they were super easy). The room and the washroom were very clean with lots of room. We had a separate entrance which made it more comfortable when coming back to the apartment a bit late at night. The apartment was close to buses/trains and made getting around very easy. We would definitely come back to CC and Tun next time we visit Chicago and recommend this beautiful place to everyone!
CC & Tun were great!. Friendly and quick to reply during the entire booking process and stay. The room was great and met all my expectations. GREAT shower!! Its in a really nice Chicago neighborhood with plenty of bus and train options if you don't have a car.
Hello Bnb 's
Whe had a very nice stay with Cc and Tun.
It was a very nice cellar apartment.clean and on a nice safe (website hidden) and Tun where not much around but they where always available on cellphone or mail.
And even on the last day Tun gave us a ride to the trainstation.
Thanx for the stay,
Evelien and Glenn
Our first airbnb experience was great! CC & Tun were great hosts - welcoming, organized, on-time - and we enjoyed our private entrance and clean, comfortable space.
About the Host, CC & Tun
We love to show travelers around Chicago as much as we like to travel. When Tun isn't teaching at a public school and CC isn't editing and writing magazine articles, we're rock climbing or eating our way through the city. Together, we've been to over 45 countries and lived in five. 他會說漢語, y ella habla español, if you need a translator. Come stay in our urban oasis!
Mexican-Korean fusion. Tacos are a bit pricey, but worth it, especially if you're into kalbi.
A popular brunch spot with great eggs, of course!
A cross between WholeFoods and a Jewel: Great variety of prepared foods (American, sushi, oyster bar, grill, coffee/gelateria) and all the groceries you could need. Convenient hours, too: 6am-10pm.
Like Reza's but cheaper. There's a Middle Eastern grocer across the street with a dizzying array of dried and just-prepared foods to go.
One of the finest Belgian beer collections in the city, and even finer mussels to boot!
Delicious contemporary American-style brunch.
Ultra-trendy Chicago chain. Beware—a size S here probably only fits an 7-year-old. But as far as trendy women's/men's clothing goes, this is the best in the 'hood.
Chicago's only Swedish Museum. Nice little store in front.
Super-cute store with lots of stationery and gift-worthy knick-knacks.
Superb Middle Eastern food.
The name says it all. Kind of granola...but we love granola. Check out the travel books in back.
Name pretty much says it all.
Our fave neighborhood carpenter shop.
Food is okay, but the scones...yum.
Excellent local bike shop.
Whimsical little candy shop.
Japanese soul food at ¢heap prices.
Dependable Thai spot with all the classics.
The nearest big grocer in the area. Get all your staples here.
Just across the street from Jewel is this gem of a local produce place. Well-priced fresh fruits and veggies and tons of Mexican/Latino foodstuffs.
One of our favorite brunch spots. Owned by a Wisconsin mushroom farmer who focuses on featuring only regional producers. Small market in the front of gourmet goods.
One of the best Korean BBQ places in the city. Great for late-night grub too—it's open from 7am to 4am daily.
Mid-century mod meets a smidge of rustic. Great coffee. Light and airy space worth the price.
Gelato with all the classic flavors, plus some fancy ones: Lavender or sea salt caramel, anyone?
Great to-go bahn mi sandwiches.
Excellent Peking duck and dependable all-around Chinese food.
Tried-and-true pho spot. Always busy on the weekends with locals looking for a steaming bowl of this delicious Vietnamese soup.
Excellent world music—the best in the city. Don't miss the Wednesday nights, which feature free (i.e., by donation) concerts.
