Private room and bathroom available in an 1100 sqft condo, less than three miles from the Balloon Fiesta, four miles to Sandia Casino, 10 miles from downtown ABQ near attractions and villages. Parking available, safe neighborhood, near good food.
The available bedroom has a wonderful view of the mountains, a walk in closet, a bit of table space to work on a laptop and excellent natural light when the curtains are opened. Treadmill is available for exercising in the house.
The downstairs is wide open, with a kitchen for your use. You are welcome to use the microwave, stove-top, and oven. Other amenities include free laundry, wi-fi, video games, and the aforementioned parking. There is also a back patio sitting area for use on pleasant evenings. I would ask that you do not use my room, otherwise, have at it.
Interaction with Guests
I have to be at work at 8 am, and return home right after 5 pm. That means the place is effectively yours during the day during the weekdays. On holidays, weekends and weekday evenings, I am around some of the time if a guest wants to interact.
The neighborhood is very quiet, and beyond the immediate area of northern Albuquerque, the Condo is near mountains, the Rio Grande, Rio Rancho, and several of the little villages nestled in Northern Albuquerque. Downtown Albuquerque shops and food are also close by, in addition to countless other interesting activities. I am happy to provide directions.
Condo is near a train station, 12 miles or so from the Albuquerque Airport, with easy access to major roads - Alameda, Paseo Del Norte, Tramway, Jefferson, I-25, I-40, and various others to get anywhere in the city or NM. Corrales, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and countless trails are all nearby for outdoor fun.
Other Things to Note
There is no "live TV" here, but Amazon Prime is available, and there are video games downstairs. Netflix & Hulu Plus are included too. These services can be accessed through my Wii U and I am happy to show how to get to the entertainment.
If it is Sunday to Thursday Night, I need to be asleep by about midnight. Neighbors expect quiet too after 10 pm during those nights. Please work out parking with me before you arrive. You are welcome to use my dishes to prepare food. No smoking inside, but you may use the patio. You are welcome to use the downstairs half bathroom and the upstairs bathroom associated with your room but I would like you to not disturb my room / bathroom. You are welcome to bring a friend / guest / person you (email hidden) as long as your behavior is reasonable.
Jacob was a great host. Incredibly knowledgeable on the area, gave me a tour around Albuquerque which was great! His place was very nice, comfortable bed and had all the amenities you need. Great airbnb experience.
Jacob was quite hospitable and his space were very comfortable for my short stay in Albuquerque. The location is great as it is very close to I-25, though if you are sensitive to noise you will hear the road while trying to rest.
The room was as described and in a very safe neighborhood. This is a gated community. Jacob was very attentive as a host and was very friendly. He certainly knows the things you can do around Albuquerque, whether its short or long trip. Definitely recommend this place.
Jacob is courteous & knowledgeable re: New Mexico's interesting & outdoorsy locations. His 2 bed, 2 & 1/2 bath split level condo is very close to many shops, restaurants & grocery stores. It was a convenient location for my visit.
Jacob was very nice and the place was easy to find. For a quick stay in Albuquerque (International Balloon Festival), it hit the spot.
I grew up in the East and moved to Albuquerque in 2010. I work full time, and have always enjoyed visiting new places. I see Airbnb as a way to help others enjoy Albuquerque. When I travel, I like to learn about options in an area, and if you come to my place I can help you find some cool things to do. I enjoy comedies, video games, Mexican food, steak, pizza, fries, history, reading, and various other things. I try to have as much fun as I can every day.
