Heather's place is a nice quiet room. Linking up, getting in was safe and easy. It's close to everywhere you'd want to walk downtown. Heather is cordial and affable. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay with Heather and Vasa. They were both very hospitable and gave us some good tips to help us enjoy our stay in Washington DC. The room was very light and comfortable and it was easy to get around from the house's location. We would stay here again!
Heather was a wonderful hostess! The room was clean and bright, and the Airbnb was located well for getting around the town. Thanks for helping to make our trip a pleasant one!
Wonderful house in a typical "New England" street rather close to the center. Especially when you think that in the center there are not many houses (only offices, musea and hotels). The metro (red line) is only one stop from Union Station. The room and shower were very clean and satisfactory. Heather and Vasa are really friendly. You don't see them every day because they are away a lot but that was no problem.
This place was great - it really is as immaculate, airy and sunlight-filled as all the photos suggest! Both the room and the bathroom were super-clean, and modern too.
Also, Heather & Vasa were super helpful, there was a factsheet in the room when I arrived with directions to the closest (walking distance) grocery store, places to eat & metro station which was so handy for a weary traveller!
And finally, whilst I didn't see them round all that much, when I did see them they were both super nice and super helpful. I would absolutely stay at this airbnb again, and thoroughly recommend to anyone!
I only met Heather and Vasa briefly, but they were both very friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful home, and the guest bedroom and shared bathroom were clean and comfortable. The location is terrific, only about a 5 minute walk to the Metro, and I never felt uncomfortable walking in the neighborhood at night. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here!
Heather was immediate responsive for any questions. The room was perfect, bed comfortable, good shower, plenty of shampoos to choose from in case I had not brought my own. I appreciate it is a shoe off house. Interesting neighborhood with plenty of places to eat, coffee in the am and a grocery too. Thank you - next time I am in the area, I'll hope to stay with you again. Laura
Those 3 days were great. Sunny stay and many thx to Vasa & Heather for the room. Our host were very busy but we saw per chance Vasa one's. All was clean and comfortable. Friendly neighbors with Gary and Belinda
Heather and Vasa are both very kind and interesting people, whom you will not see very often as they have busy lives. The room and shared bathroom are perfectly clean and the bed, linen and towels are very comfortable. The room has everything you might need: closet space, blinds, airco, tourist guides, a hair dryer, a desk with lamp etc. The street is beautiful and quiet, and the metro is a few minutes away. We recommend a stay at their place!
I enjoyed my stay here. I walked to the White House and the capital hill etc. the first day. I took a metro to George Town the next day. Very clean and quite house. I would stay here next time :)
