Small 2 room apartment 10 mins walk from Howth village/restaurants. Completely redesigned this year with new ensuite, double bed, galley kitchen, separate living room/open fire. Patio doors to garden with terrace & outdoor dining. Wifi included.
This Studio apartment has a large lounge for comfort with an open fire place. It is a very cosy apartment.
There is a large queen bed that can be put into a single bed if you want more space in your kitchen com eating area during the day!
A very bright accommodation over looking a mature garden.
The accommodation is at the back of the house. That is accessed by the side gate. This is your area and there are people living in the house that will know you are coming.
The only access you have to the main house is that there is a door at the back of the Studio apartment that leads into the Hallway of the main house and there is a utility room to the right which has the fridge and the washing machine. This will all be explained to the tennants.
Interaction with Guests
I will not be present as I am letting my Studio apartment, this is my home. I am in Australia for those dates. I will have somebody to be available to help out if you need help! Hopefully when you reserve and accepted all the details will be clearly discussed!
Howth is a unique fishing village, awarded for its culinary expertise. People come to buy their fish and to have their coffee and delicacies. The Neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. A very respected area.
This accommodation is not for the people who want to live on the fast track.
There are stunning walks a stones through away.
Music not to be played loudly after 10.30 there are people living both sides.
There is the 31 bus that goes into Dublin city center and also gives you access to lots of other villages and their facilities on route including the local pubs. The bus takes approx 45 min into Dublin City and leaves you off at Abbey Street near Trinity.
There is also the Dart which Takes you right round Dublin Bay. This also gives you access to the City Center, North middle and South Dublin
Other Things to Note
The fire would be a concern for me. If your are using the wrong type of fuel it will spit and burn the carpet and possibly cause more damage.
There is a fire guard and would like it to be used when the fire is being unattended!
There is also a shed that if you want to house your suit cases or store something smallish you can.
They central heating time switch is in the apartment and this controls the whole house and the apartment. I will have somebody to look after it if it needs to be altered.
The guests will need to let them have access to it, if need be.
I would like to think that my guests would respect my home as if it was theirs. I don't allow pets. I also do not allow smoking in my studio flat.
I will be giving telephone numbers to my guests if there are questions and I will also be have (website hidden) if you want to be in touch.
I will also have a list of notes that might answer questions that might help and are commonly needed to know.
Sheets will and towels will be provided if requested.
Stay here and you could give this host their first review!
My name is Maureen, I have had visitors renting rooms in my home from all over the world over the past few years on both a short & long term basis. The apartment is at the rear of the house and is completely secluded and private. I designed the space to be comfortable and provide my visitors with every amenity. My interests are animals, sailing, rugby and travel so I can provide all of my visitors with an advice on activities and introduce them to life in our beautiful village of Howth, which is both a working fishing port and also a haven for yachts from around the world. Feel free to message me if you have any questions prior to booking.
