Dive into the history of this unique and memorable place. The Spirit Room celebrates our local celebrity ghosts, Carrie and Leatherbelly. The Crown King Depot has been created out of shipping containers on the site of the original train depot in this Wild West town which was the site of 41 gold and silver mines in the early 1900's. Come up to the "Best Kept Secret in Arizona for a unique experience introducing you to the wonders of the Bradshaw Mountains, and the rich legacy of mining.

The space
Step into the Spirit Room, where the rich and restless history of our very own Crown King ghosts still lingers… Carrie, the miner’s gentle daughter, and Leatherbelly, the spirited soiled dove, who are said to wander these hills in the darkest hours of the night.
This clever little sleeper car, built from a sturdy shipping container, carries on the town’s haunted legacy in the most delightful way. Though tiny, these sleeper cars are mighty, bursting with vibrant colors, rich stories of Crown King, and a full private shower and bathroom to keep you quite comfortable… even if you hear soft footsteps in the hallway after midnight.

Hi, my name is Thomasina (Tommey) and I love to travel and plan trips for my friends. I am a native Phoenician (there aren't many of us) and I LOVE to show our beautiful city off to visitors. We have had so much fun sharing our spectacular house through Airbnb over the past four years and love the friends we have made from all over the world. This property has everything you could ask for; it is an architectural wonder with hiking trails right from our driveway, mountain biking, shopping, sports complexes, restaurants and night life. We now offer a second location near the Biltmore area which is perfect for exploring Phoenix (Central Phoenix Biltmore Area Boho Chic), and offers two full queen beds, a well stocked full sized kitchen, and a fenced back yard. Whichever location you have chosen, we are available to answer any questions, guide you on hiking or biking adventures, suggest the best "insider" places in North or Central Phoenix, and to help you in any way. We love exploring the world, are mid century modern fanatics, sports enthusiasts, "foodies," and just all around nice people.
