The Depot was created from shipping containers, on the spot where the original train depot once stood in this sweet Wild West town. Back in the early 1900s, this place was home to 41 gold & silver mines!
Come up & visit our “Best Kept Secret in Arizona”? We promise a most delightful experience in the beautiful Bradshaw Mountains, the exciting legacy of mining days, & the history of the Crown King railroad line.

The space
Step into our darling Railroad Room, which celebrates the grand history of the Santa Fe/Crown King railroad line and the wonderful legacy of mining right here in Crown King.
Come inside this charming “sleeper car” — cleverly created from a shipping container — filled with lovely historic photos, a cozy comfy bed, the most delightful decorations, and a sweet little en suite bathroom that’s just perfect.

Guest access
You’ll have your very own sweet "sleeper car" to call home, plus the cozy common quad area to share with friends!
You can wander out to the railroad yard whenever you like, or simply settle in at the Crown King Depot for delicious beverages and food. So much fun at the newest place in town!

Other things to note
Crown King is a wonderful place, but lots of dust! The road up is a bit bumpy, but it's all worth it once you get into town and get your first glimpse of the newly open Crown King Depot.

Hi, my name is Thomasina (Tommey) and I love to travel and plan trips for my friends. I am a native Phoenician (there aren't many of us) and I LOVE to show our beautiful city off to visitors. We have had so much fun sharing our spectacular house through Airbnb over the past four years and love the friends we have made from all over the world. This property has everything you could ask for; it is an architectural wonder with hiking trails right from our driveway, mountain biking, shopping, sports complexes, restaurants and night life. We now offer a second location near the Biltmore area which is perfect for exploring Phoenix (Central Phoenix Biltmore Area Boho Chic), and offers two full queen beds, a well stocked full sized kitchen, and a fenced back yard. Whichever location you have chosen, we are available to answer any questions, guide you on hiking or biking adventures, suggest the best "insider" places in North or Central Phoenix, and to help you in any way. We love exploring the world, are mid century modern fanatics, sports enthusiasts, "foodies," and just all around nice people.
