Tulum’s beaches are full of posh hotels, and there are hostels in the town proper, but if you truly want an experience, leave that behind and stay here. It is fully sustainable and there’s is little impact on the jungle. Its 10 mins from Tulum town, perfectly situated to drive to one of the many cenotes in minutes, explore Coba ruins, or drive a little more to Valladolid, Ek Balam, or even Chicken Itza. And who doesn’t love an outdoor shower?

The space
Magical cabana in the middle of the jungle with king size bed 360º surrounded by nature! Your own private shower under the stars with warm water and sky views. You'll have the incredible experience of being surrounded by ancient Mayan trees, a variety of flora and fauna, fluttering wildlife & the energy of the jungle at night; all away from the crowds and the noise of downtown.

Lumapi is 100% sustainable and very conscious with nature and the environment. We're solar powered with the convenience of electricity, fans, and wifi as well as use a 100% ecological system called ELEMENTAL to treat our grey waters and not damage Mother Earth.

Surrounded by underground rivers, cenotes and majestic flora and fauna; your stay with us will be magical!

We are a couple from Spain and Venezuela parents of three lovely children. We moved to Tulum in September 2016 with the dream of opening a retreat in the jungle. In 2018 we sold it to a lovely woman who carries on our vision. We remain actively involved in the daily operations. Lumapi is a ecological and sustainable jungle retreat.
