About This Listing
A bargain for a single traveller. Cosy small single room. Great Wifi. Use of sitting room/kitchen etc.
Local home owner with lots of advice on what to see and do. Easy 10 minute walk to town or National Park.
Minimum stay 2 nights. Thank you
It's a lovely, clean, cosy home. I have just been away travelling for 3 months so I am tuned in to the needs of travellers. The wifi is excellent. I can help you with any local bookings of bus tours etc. Killarney is just a beautiful place to visit and explore. You could spend months enjoying the walks, drives, views, swims, jaunting car rides, visits to castles, abbeys, ruins galore :)
I am very flexible. If you are doing the Killarney adventure Race and you want to cook up your pasta at 6am that's fine :). I find that people are usually busy exploring outdoors and don't spend much time in the house. But you are free to watch tv in the sitting etc, put on a wash if you need to, etc. Just ask really and we can facilitate eachother.
Interaction with Guests
As much as you like basically. I'm around for info and help if needed. If you are happy in your own space I will respect that. I am out and about a lot myself. If it's a fine day I'll be off to the lake or the sea or the National Park.
I love Muckross Rd. Its the best location in Killarney. You can stroll to town or walk in the National Park.
Enjoyed my stay with Breeda. The house is very close to the center of Killarney Parking off street also is provided Would use again Thomas
Wonderful stay at Breeda's. I was very comfortable. Breeda was extremely accommodating, picked me up from the station, offered bfast, showed me maps of the area and helped me plan my itinerary for 3 days there. I highly recommend a 3 day stay in Killarney with Breeda. This was by far one of my favorite parts of Ireland to be in and a great location to be staying at! Thank you Breeda.
My stay with Breeda was very nice! She was very welcoming and extremely helpful. She picked me up from the train station, gave me tea and cookies once we arrived to her house, and then discussed all of the tourist places in Killarney that I could possibly explore. She even offered to call any bus tour offices if I needed her help! Her house is clean, cosy, and in an awesome location; maybe a 15 min walk to town, it's perfect! I'm so glad that I was able to stay here, looking forward to visiting Killarney again someday :) and I will definitely be booking with Breeda!!
This is my first airbnb stay and I must say that Breeda has set a very good example for other hosts to emulate. The room is clean and tidy, and Breeda has kindly provided much advice for exploring Killarney. The area is also quiet and peaceful at night - ensuring a good night's rest for the next day. Her house is strategically located between the town centre and the national park, so it is a good base to explore the many attractions around the town.
I would definitely encourage my friends to stay with Breeda if they are visiting Killarney.
A warm welcome awaits, with lots of local knowledge and tips you can't go wrong! An easy short walk into town, so no need to worry about driving. Can't be beaten for the price.
Breeda went the extra mile and accommodated me in another house after she had a plumbing emergency at her home. She was very friendly and helpful and even though I didn't get to spend much time with her, my stay in Killarney was amazing! Thank you Breeda!

About the Host, Breeda
I am a local Killarney woman but I have lived in different parts of Ireland and the world during my teaching career. I love the National Park and all the fabulous walks here. The town has everything you could possibly need and there is simply nowhere more beautiful to live. You can stroll to town to dine out or shop around or relax and browse the internet after a day out and about. If the weather is right the best thing to do is to get out in the boat on the lake to explore hidden Killarney. You will be most welcome here. Make yourself at home for your stay. I like to make the most of life's opportunities.
