A bargain for a single traveller. Cosy small single room. View of mountains. Use of sitting room/kitchen etc. Wifi/tv.
Local home owner with lots of advice on what to see and do. Easy walk to town or National Park.
Minimum stay 2 nights. Thank you
It's a lovely, clean, cosy home. I have just been away travelling for 3 months so I am tuned in to the needs of travellers. The wifi is excellent. I can help you with any local bookings of bus tours etc. Killarney is just a beautiful place to visit and explore. You could spend months enjoying the walks, drives, views, swims, jaunting car rides, visits to castles, abbeys, ruins galore :)
I am very flexible. If you are doing the Killarney adventure Race and you want to cook up your pasta at 6am that's fine :). I find that people are usually busy exploring outdoors and don't spend much time in the house. But you are free to watch tv in the sitting etc, put on a wash if you need to, etc. Just ask really and we can facilitate eachother.

As much as you like basically. I'm around for info and help if needed. If you are happy in your own space I will respect that. I am out and about a lot myself. If it's a fine day I'll be off to the lake or the sea or the National Park.
I love Muckross Rd. Its the best location in Killarney. You can stroll to town or walk in the National Park.
I had 2 quiet cozy nights at Breedas home while exploring the surrounding area. Breeda was able to pick me up from the train station as well as accomodate parking for my rental vehicle, very much appreciated. She is very organized and accomodating! Unfortunately didn't spend time in the city centre of Killarney during my stay, although it did seem like it would be a bit of a walk.
Breeda is a very nice person, during my stay at home has advised me and helped a lot, also prepared some delicious breakfast! the place is very beautiful. undoubtedly would return to go!
Breeda is a very good host and a wonderful person, she picked me up at the train station, adviced me about what to do in the area and even washed my clothes!
Everything was clean, tidy and cosy at all times and she was very attentive. Breakfast full and tasty. I totally recommend staying with her.
My arrival was a bit chaotic as I did not arrived directly from the airport or train station. However Breeda came to pick me up where I was in order to ensure everything was ok.
Breeda is extremely well organised and knows all activities to do in the area : ) Listen to her advice as some people can charge extra for activities that does not really worth it (cost wise).
Breeda has a fireplace in the living room that is so so so enjoyable.
Everything is prepared in your bedroom and she had a batch of booklet like the Office of Tourism!
On the top of that, Breeda has a good personnality as she likes people to share their experience and the activities - traveller mentality!
Everything at Breeds'a home was very lovely! She was able to pick me up from the train station, made tea when we returned home, and had lovely suggestions for activities and restaurants! She kept a fire each night and I really enjoyed relaxing there at the end of each day. Her home is an excellent location for walking into town or to the national park, as it's about midway between each. Highly recommend!
Breeda has a lovely home that allows easy acess to the city center and Killarney national park. I had an excellent stay with no troubles, thanks to Breeda. She is friendly and kind, as well as very helpful. If you are looking for a personal and warm stay, I would highly recommend her.
Breeda was very welcoming. I wanted somewhere quiet to stay as I was on a course in a (very) nearby hotel, rather than having the time to explore Killarney. I tended to just heat up some food in the kitchen and collapse for the evening in front of the fire. The electric blanket on the bed was especially appreciated in January. Breeda also gave me a twin room, rather than the single, as there was no-one else staying.

I am a local Killarney woman but I have lived in different parts of Ireland and the world during my teaching career. I love the National Park and all the fabulous walks here. The town has everything you could possibly need and there is simply nowhere more beautiful to live. You can stroll to town to dine out or shop around or relax and browse the internet after a day out and about. If the weather is right the best thing to do is to get out in the boat on the lake to explore hidden Killarney. You will be most welcome here. Make yourself at home for your stay. I like to make the most of life's opportunities.
