The Space

It's a lovely, clean, cosy home. I have just been away travelling for 3 months so I am tuned in to the needs of travellers. The wifi is excellent. I can help you with any local bookings of bus tours etc. Killarney is (email hidden) to visit and explore. You could spend months enjoying the walks, drives, views, swims, jaunting car rides, visits to castles, abbeys, ruins galore :)

Guest Access

I am very flexible. If you are doing the Killarney adventure Race and you want to cook up your pasta at 6am that's fine :). I find that people are usually busy exploring outdoors and don't spend much time in the house. But you are free to watch tv in the sitting etc, put on a wash if you need to, etc. Just ask really and we can facilitate eachother.

Interaction with Guests

As much as you like basically. I'm around for info and help if needed. If you are happy in your own space I will respect that. I am out and about a lot myself. If it's a fine day I'll be off to the lake or the sea or the National Park.

The Neighborhood

I love Muckross Rd. Its the best location in Killarney. You can stroll to town or walk in the National Park.

  • My stay with Breeda was great experience. Breeda’s home is welcoming, spotless and the location is perfect within walking distance of Killarney town. If you do decide to take a taxi its only approx €5. Highly recommend. Clodagh 

  • Breeda (email hidden).i travel without an itinerary, other than to specific cities that I want to visit. I relied on her to share with me activities/sites to see and she gave me great advice. I recommend staying with her during your trip to Killarney.

  • J'ai passé de beaux moments chez Breeda. La chambre était petite mais confortable. Breeda est une hôte remarquable par sa gentillesse et sa (website hidden) maison est tout près du centre ville et du parc national. À recommander, très certainement.

  • Breeda very friendly and helpful.Room i found was a little small with a single bed but filled my needs.and house homely. Location was good for a easy stroll into Killarney Centre and for driving to Kenmare ,Muckross House etc. Found finding the address a little confusing but if you go just past Doyles Garage Breeda is opposite Slieve Bloom Manor House and nest door to house with a big Monkey Puzzle Tree. Would recommend to anyone visiting Killarney.

  • I had a quite nice stay at Breeda's home. The location is great and the house is very well organized and clean. Breeda keeps an eye on everything and was indeed very helpful. She gave me good ideas on what to visit in Killarney— now we are both fans of Killarney National Park —, and I have some of the best memories from the southwest coast of Ireland. The gap of Dunloe tour is a must!
She makes very beautiful pottery and I couldn't resist to buy and bring to Portugal some pieces with me. Only one piece got a little "scratch" on the way back home, though it was worth it.
    Thank you Breeda.

  • Breeda (email hidden) and is a very lovely person. The room was perfect for myself and my sister and breakfast in the morning was enough to keep us going until lunchtime! I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Breeda's lovely home. I will definitely stay with Breeda again on my next trip to Killarney! Thank you, Breeda!

  • My stay in Killarney was just perfect. The location was on a main street and close to town. Breeda was helpful and her house was clean and lovely. She was extra helpful on my departure day and drove me and all my gear to my sisters hotel which was closer to the train station where we were leaving from that day. I had expected to walk but she went out of her way to help. She also did my laundry for me which I needed to have done as I had already been traveling 12 days. She knew I was going to a wedding on Sat. and set the ironing board out in case I needed to freshen up my wedding attire. Such a sweet and helpful person.

  • I had such a lovely time staying with Breeda. Killarney was truly one of the most beautiful parts of my trip. Breeda's location is perfect for exploring the surrounding (website hidden) is a short walk away, and the Killarney National Park is walkable- but Breeda was kind enough to lend me her bicycle, so I spent a day riding the gorgeous trail around the lake and visiting the waterfall. The room was clean and simple yet well appointed. Breakfast was hearty and delicious- I didn't need to eat again until dinner. Additionally- Breeda was kind enough to arrange to pick me up at the bus station and drop me off since I wasn't driving. I would definitely stay with Breeda again in the future.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Breeda's. Her home is in a perfect location, it's only a short walk to the Killarney National Park and it's close to the city center as well. Breeda was extremely hospitality and cooked a fantastic Irish breakfast each morning I was there. She is a lovely women and has a very quaint and pretty home. I would highly recommend staying here.

I am a primary teacher on career break. I was born in Killarney but have lived in different parts of Ireland and the world. I love the National Park and all the fabulous walks here. The town has everything you could possibly need and there is simply nowhere more beautiful to live. You can stroll to town to dine out or shop around or relax and browse the internet after a day out and about. It the weather is right the best thing to do is to get out in the boat on the lake to explore hidden Killarney. You will be most welcome here. Make yourself at home for your stay.
