  • I had such a lovely time staying with Breeda. Killarney was truly one of the most beautiful parts of my trip. Breeda's location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Town is a short walk away, and the Killarney National Park is walkable- but Breeda was kind enough to lend me her bicycle, so I spent a day riding the gorgeous trail around the lake and visiting the waterfall. The room was clean and simple yet well appointed. Breakfast was hearty and delicious- I didn't need to eat again until dinner. Additionally- Breeda was kind enough to arrange to pick me up at the bus station and drop me off since I wasn't driving. I would definitely stay with Breeda again in the future.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Breeda's. Her home is in a perfect location, it's only a short walk to the Killarney National Park and it's close to the city center as well. Breeda was extremely hospitality and cooked a fantastic Irish breakfast each morning I was there. She is a lovely women and has a very quaint and pretty home. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Breeda was superb! I was very thankful that she picked me up at the station after a long cold night on the bus. The room was comfortable and big. Next day morning she made me breakfast, which I really appreciated. The house is very close to the downtown from where multiple buses leave for trips to the ring of kerry. Highly recommend this place!

Also, if you are at this place, definitely check out the bar next door. Some very cool people hang out there.

  • Breeda is so generous, I can't tell you everything she Did for me as it'd put too much preassure on her to match this! I had a really nice stay in Killarney.

  • I stayed at Breeda's place on strip through Ireland and booked on really short notice. I got really lucky to stay at her place. The room as cozy and the bed comfortable. She made an amazing breakfast in the morning and the during the whole stay I felt very well cared for. Would definitely stay at Breeda's again and can only recommend to do so too!

    Response from Breeda:

Thanks Fabian. It was a pleasure having you to stay.

  • Breeda was a fabulous hostess with a beautiful home right on the Ring of Kerry (just a 5 min. drive from Ross Castle). She has two rooms upstairs -- one quaint room with a single bed and a large room with two beds. I had booked the small room, and she was kind enough to give me the larger room since no one was in the larger room that night. We were off to a good start! Breeda is very willing to give tips and recommendations and I really enjoyed our conversations in the mornings. Which brings me to ... breakfast. Each morning she cooked an amazing traditional Irish breakfast. I was full until dinner! If you're considering this place, grab it! You won't regret it. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. Thank you, Breeda.

About
I am a primary teacher on career break. About to spend the year developing my pottery. I was born in Killarney but have lived in different parts of Ireland and the world. Just back home this year. I love the National Park and all the fabulous walks here. The town has everything you could possibly need and there is simply nowhere more beautiful to live. You can relax and light a fire, read a book, watch a movie or browse the internet after a day out and about. It the weather is right the best thing to do is to get out in the boat on the lake to explore hidden Killarney. You will be most welcome here. Make yourself at home for your stay.
