This nice 2 bedroom apartment sits at the intersection of old and new Hong Kong. New Bars & restaurants line Hollywood Rd steps away
Located in the most convenient spot in Hong Kong, it is close to everything and everywhere you would want to or need to go to in Hong Kong. Next to the Sheung Wan MTR Subway station, 7 Eleven, Bank of China, HSBC, Supermarkets, computer center, Sheung Wan produce market, bars, coffee shops, night clubs, main tram station, bus stations (over 30 different bus routes that stop here). Crossing street is Hollywood Road, the foreign friendly district located in Soho, walking distance to the big and beautiful Hollywood Park with fish ponds and beautiful plants and trees. And also close by is Upper Lascar Row 摩羅上街
which is a famous area for tourist shopping.
There are 2 big bedrooms each with a queens sized bed and a big double sofa bed in the living room. Each bed sleeps at least 2 people. Free ultra high speed wireless and LAN internet, cable TV with DVD player. The apartment was just finished renovated, furnished and decorated with a full on bathroom and shower and a kitchen with electric cooker, water boiler and all the eating and cooking utensils that a family would need. There are 3 air conditioners in the apartment, one in each room and another in the living room as well as fans and heaters. The apartment building as well as the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. One of the safest places in the world! The only drawback is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building, but it is really not a bad climb up the stairs at all and is quite good exercise. Other than that, it is the perfect apartment for a family or couple or group of friends or co-workers.
**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.

As much as possible or invisible if you want. I will try to meet with arriving guests and show them the area. Whenever guests need information or recommendations, I am always available via messaging or phone.
Fantastic traditional Hong Kong neighborhood with lots of history at every street alley and corner. Local restaurants are a treat to experience and public transport is all around to get you to all places of the city.
Sheung Wan MTR is 5 min walk down the hill.
Trams, buses, mini buses, taxis are all just a stone's throw away to get you all throughout Hong Kong.
Other Things to Note
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.
This is a Strictly NON SMOKING Flat.
UPON ARRIVAL AT PROPERTY, ALL GUESTS MUST WAIT FOR ME AT THE FRONT GATE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. BUILDING RESIDENTS WILL COMPLAIN TO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IF THE LOBBY AREA INSIDE BUILDING IS BLOCKED. THANKS FOR YOUR KIND UNDERSTANDING FOR AN ENJOYABLE STAY.
Check in time is AFTER 12:30 pm. Make sure to contact us by phone at least 30 minutes prior to arrival such that we can meet you at the flat to hand you the keys and acquaint you to the surroundings. As this is a family business, please try your best to arrive at the apartment as early as possible. After 11:30pm as transport to the apartment is limited for us, we have to charge HKD150 to cover our taxi transport cost to and from the apartment. We are generally exhausted at the end of the day and we really would rather you arrive early and not have to charge this.
Guests must wait for us OUTSIDE the building upon arrival and not enter the building without us as this causes unnecessary misunderstandings with the property management and residents of the buildings.
Check out time is STRICT at 11:00 am. NO EXCEPTIONS or you will be charged for an extra full day. Our cleaning crew will arrive at 11:00 am to service the flat for the next guest, thanks for your cooperation.
Please help us save the environment by turning off electrical appliances when leaving the apartment or not using them.
Water heater needs to be turned off when not using. If it breaks due to prolonged time left on, you will not have any hot water for your stay and will be subject to expensive repair charges.
In the case that you have an evening departure flight:
Please note that you can check in your luggage at anytime during the same day as your flight at the Hong Kong Station Airport Express, which is only a 5 minute taxi or bus ride from the apartment. That way you would be free to explore the city on your last day, not having to worry about your luggage or rushing to the airport since you have already checked in, you will not have to be at the airport as early as everyone else.
All airlines flying from Hong Kong airport offer In Town check in, EXCEPT the following:

The apartment is in a very good location, 10 minutes walking from amazing restaurants and 5 minutes walking to the metro. Good for 4 people max. Brend was always available when we needed something. I definitely recommend!
The apartment is in a great location. The SoHo area is awesome for its food, shopping, and night life. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. The living space is a little small for four people but perfectly fine for a few days. For the price I would defiantly rent this place again.
The place is good and quite convenient. Brendan and his mom have been very welcoming giving out great tips for visiting HK, and was always reachable.
Stayed at brendan's in early Dec for 5 days. Location was okay, around 10-min walk to the nearest MTR station though. Neighborhood was more residential-ly, very different from the TST or Mong Kok area. And that means only the 7-11s are open late at night. The entrance to the building was a bit seedy. Quite scary when we tried to find it and first saw it at midnight! The four flights of stairs up were manageable--but can be really exhausting after an entire day of walking. After you get past the staircase, the apartment itself was very welcome, basic but clean. Less picturesque than what was suggested in the pictures. Size-wise, think it's quite spacious for HK standards-- but just enough for the 4 of us. We were supposed to be 5 but one friend cancelled. Good thing because it would have been too crowded. Each of the 2 rooms was just enough for 2. Bathroom's okay but the shower area was too small. Shower curtain tended to stick to you. The drain also was slow, simply too much for the water coming out. But, what we really appreciate, both brendan and his mom were very accessible, just a phone call and e-mail away. Tried to accommodate all our requests. Very quick to respond, too. Made a whole lot of difference to our stay :) On a scale of 1-10, overall, I'd give this one a 7.5 :)

I was born in California and raised in Hong Kong. Went to college in the states and returned to Hong Kong a few years ago. I absolutely love travelling around the region but Hong Kong has always welcomed me home and I look forward to showing off my home town and sharing all the little insights and local specialities with all my guests!
a neighborhood restaurant and bar inspired by the New York-style Italian culinary tradition. It's located on the art and antiques stretch of Hollywood Road in the up-and-coming Sheung Wan district.
Find a rare treasure or a nice little Chinese style nick nack in any of the wonderful stall and shops along this lane. A photographers dream as well.
