We have a comfortable and cozy home in Mission Terrace, which we enjoy sharing on a regular basis to responsible, mature adults who'd like a feel-at-home place to stay while visiting San Francisco.
For flexible travelers looking for an affordable option, this place is ideal for you. Your stay includes one deluxe, elevated queen-sized air mattress, fresh towels, sheets, and comforters; complimentary tea and coffee. When there are more than two guests, a second deluxe, elevated queen-sized air mattress will be provided. Please note, the second air mattress will take up the remaining floor space when used.
This is a shared space situation. You have your own private bedroom. The living room, bathroom, and kitchen are shared. You are welcome to make use of the front yard during your stay.
We are a 5 minute walk from the shuttle buses for (website hidden), (website hidden)and Genentech.
Free and easy to find street parking. We are located less than one mile from the Ocean Avenue/Geneva Avenue exit on 280. If you prefer off street parking, we can arrange for you to park in our driveway if you let us know during the time of your booking.
Sold yet? OK, we'll keep going.
Our home is only three blocks away from the express BART trains at the Glen Park BART station which will get you to downtown/Civic Center in 8 minutes. Another expedient option to downtown is the J Church MUNI line, only a 3 minute walk away. The closest MUNI stop is San Jose Ave & Santa Rosa Ave.
We're within walking distance to the Sunnyside Conservatory and Glen Park Canyon for an idyllic hike in the heart of the city, or you can be to downtown in 8 minutes by BART. The apartment is easy to get to from SFO, simply take BART from the airport directly to the Glen Park BART.
One of the perks of this neighborhood are the wonderfully unique and quirky dining establishments that are the quintessence of San Francisco. You'll find a wonderfully bizarre Indian Pizza place called Zante's (The Best Indian Pizza with Paneer Tikka Masala, anyone?) and more varieties of pupusas than you'll know what to do with at La Santaneca. Just around the corner is an excellent French bistro with delicious food, can't-be-beat glasses of house wines, and a serious digestif menu called Le P’tit Laurent (your first drink is free if you come in wearing a beret). Several health food, vegetarian/vegan establishments a stone's throw away.
We hope you will make this your San Francisco home!
**Special Notes** If you need mobility assistance or don't like dogs this apartment is probably not best for you as stairs are necessary and I have pets. My friendly, affectionate dogs and I will be staying on the first floor for at least part of your stay. Though the dogs will not be in your rooms, it is inevitable you would see and occasionally hear them in the yard.
Please, no smoking inside the house.

Rebekah was a really welcoming host. Very sweet and it was very comfy. Loved the dogs they were so adorable. We really enjoyed our quicky stay. Thank you so much.
Rebekah was a great host. She was very sweet and her place was perfect for what we needed. Thank you Rebekah!
Rebekah and Rob were very nice.
If you are expecting a b&b experience you will sorely disappointed. The place is more like a youth hostel with people sleeping on a couch in the living/dining room. The "private room" is behind a sliding door with no security, and barely enough room to walk around. The bed consisted of a box spring and mattress on the floor. No formal breakfast.
Super super nice hosts, lovely safe area, very cute dogs. Easy to park our car. Easy to get to SF downtown.
We were surprised that there were so many people renting rooms at this little house, except for us 2 in one bedroom, there were 2 in a tent outside, 1 in the other bedroom and the hosts sleep in the living room. When we arrived, 1 or 2 more slept on a matress in the living room... So a total of 8-9 people sharing one bathroom - something that we did not expect and felt was a bit too crowded.
Our bedroom was nice, big and clean. We did find it very cold (no heating - we slept fully dressed) and since there are no blinds, it was very light in the morning.
Also good to know is that in order to get to the bathroom, you have to walk through the small livingroom where the hosts and dogs are sleeping - something that we did not expect and felt was a bit inconvenient.
