The Space

We have a beautiful and cozy home in Mission Terrace, which we enjoy sharing on a regular basis to responsible, mature adults who'd like a comfortable place to stay while visiting San Francisco.

For flexible travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable option, this place is ideal for you. Your stay includes one deluxe, elevated queen-sized air mattress, fresh towels, sheets, and comforters; complimentary tea and coffee. When there are more than two guests, a second deluxe, elevated queen-sized air mattress will be provided. Please note, the second air mattress will take up the remaining floor space when used.

This is a shared space situation. You have your own private bedroom. The living room, bathroom, and kitchen are shared. You are welcome to make use of the front yard during your stay.

We are a 5 minute walk from the shuttle buses for (website hidden), (website hidden)and Genentech.

Free and easy to find street parking. We are located less than one mile from the Ocean Avenue/Geneva Avenue exit on 280. If you prefer off street parking, we can arrange for you to park in our driveway if you let us know during the time of your booking.

Sold yet? OK, we'll keep going.

Our home is only three blocks away from the express BART trains at the Glen Park BART station which will get you to downtown/Civic Center in 8 minutes. Another expedient option to downtown is the J Church MUNI line, only a 3 minute walk away. The closest MUNI stop is San Jose Ave & Santa Rosa Ave.

We're within walking distance to the Sunnyside Conservatory and Glen Park Canyon for an idyllic hike in the heart of the city, or you can be to downtown in 8 minutes by BART. The apartment is easy to get to from SFO, simply take BART from the airport directly to the Glen Park BART.

One of the perks of this neighborhood are the wonderfully unique and quirky dining establishments that are the quintessence of San Francisco. You'll find a wonderfully bizarre Indian Pizza place called Zante's (The Best Indian Pizza with Paneer Tikka Masala, anyone?) and more varieties of pupusas than you'll know what to do with at La Santaneca. Just around the corner is an excellent French bistro with delicious food, can't-be-beat glasses of house wines, and a serious digestif menu called Le P’tit Laurent (your first drink is free if you come in wearing a beret). Several health food, vegetarian/vegan establishments a stone's throw away.

We hope you will make this your San Francisco home!

**Special Notes** If you need mobility assistance or don't like dogs this apartment is probably not best for you as stairs are necessary and I have pets. My friendly, affectionate dogs and I will be staying on the first floor for at least part of your stay. Though the dogs will not be in your rooms, it is inevitable you would see and occasionally hear them in the yard.

Check In
  • Our stay at Rebekah's place was great! She and Rob were both very helpful with everything! They gave us great advice about where to eat, what to do and about driving directions for the rest of our trip! All the tourist attractions are easy to reach from the location! And the dogs are the cutest! Would definitely stay there again!

  • Bekah and her boyfriend Rob were very accommodating and understanding about our check-in and check-out times. The Glen Park metro station was a very close walk and the neighborhood felt very safe, even at night. They gave us great directions when we asked them how to get places. Additionally, their canine crew Ava, Gilligan, and Bucky were very sweet and were great co-hosts. Bekah gave us this delicious ginger chocolate as a welcoming treat. They also gave us great ideas for the day. Next time we're in the area, we'll be sure to stop by again!

  • Had a great time in SFO. Rebekah was vey nice and is a great host!

The place is spacious and easily fit 8 people.

Mission Terrace is a bit on the outskirts of SF, but we had no problem going where we needed to be, even at night.

I'd definitely recommend the place, thanks Rebekah!

  • Rebekah was a great host and her canine welcome committee were really awesome! My wife and I only stayed for one night but it was perfect for our schedule.
    - check-in: easy peasy Rebekah gives clear directions
    - neighborhood: quiet area even though it's close to a freeway, I couldn't hear the urban ocean at night.
    - public transportation: 10 min walk to the Glen Park Bart station and 5-10 min to the closest bus stop
overall: great stay, would stay again if i visited SF.

  • We stayed in Rebakah and Rob' place for three night. They made us feel like home. Cosy place, lovely dogs and their warm hospitality left us great memory in SF. If you are a dog lover, you should not miss it!

  • Rebekah and Rob were super friendly and accommodating, we really couldn't have asked for more. The neighborhood is residential and felt safe even for two girls walking around at 2am. Also, their three dogs are the cutest.

  • Oh, where to start with Rebecca and Rob!? We were greeted by the very loving dogs on what was to be 2 weeks in a house that really did feel like home. Don't let the air mattress put you off, it really is like sleeping on a cloud. The hosts made us feel welcome and were always quick to share local tips about the wonderful neighborhood. It's super convenient for downtown, Castro and mission districts and twin peaks. Thanks so much guys, we can't wait to come back and stay again!

  • Rebekah & Rob's warm welcome made us feel immediately at home, in their home. We'd arrived on a cold, rainy night, and Rob offered us hot tea, while Rebekah fixed a lovely plate of veggies, fruit and hummus for us to snack on. They were so very accommodating and friendly. They were so easy to talk to that we found ourselves becoming quite comfortable in a very short amount of time. Their home is quite interesting, warm and quiet. I especially admire the fact that Rebekah and Rob have adopted two dogs, that otherwise may not have had a second chance, from the local shelter. That says a lot about the kind of people they are: compassionate, responsible and giving. I hope to stay with them again soon.
