Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • JD's apartment was very well located; not near the centre but it was simple to reach it with tram or with bicycle (provided from JD himself!). The apartment had everything we needed and JD was very nice on arrival (he came to find us at the tram station near home). I think the apartment is good for a maximum of 4/5 people, we were 6 and we were a little close, but if you have to stay at home just to sleep, this is not a problem! The area contains supermarkets and convenience stores and some restaurants that looked good but we didn't try. Coffee shops are near too. So, good experience! Thank you JD ;)

  • JD was very supportive and responsive in organizing our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was a bit outside the city center, you need to take a tram or bike to go there. (JD has 5 old bikes for free!) The apartment was quite small for us 5, but that was what we expected for this price. Generally, I would recommend staying there, if you need a simple, small apartment for 3-4 people, and if you are not very picky!

  • Luckily one of the 5 members of our group dropped out otherwise I feel the apartment may have been too small for 5. For four however it was a pretty comfortable size and had everything you might need accept a shortage of bowls. The location of the apartment is fantastic with a great view of the canals and a lovely balcony at the back. It is also very close to a tram stop and not far to the centre if you just want to walk. JD was very helpful and helped arrange a friend of his, Alex to pick us up from the airport. Although we never met JD he was very good at staying in contact and I'm sure would have done everything he could to help us with our stay. Thank you for a great stay.

  • The apartment was in a good spot. The description lead us to believe the apartment was bigger than it was and as a big group we were squashed, although we managed and the apartment would have been fantastic for a smaller group. The apartment had everything we needed (bar enough bowls) and JD was very nice on arrival (he came to find us when we got lost getting there), easy to contact and on hand had anything gone wrong. If you rent bikes everything in Amsterdam is very close and easy to get to, and the area contains supermarkets and convenience stores and some restaurants that looked good but we didn't try. Overall a good experience and we will be back to stay in Amsterdam again soon!

Jd is very very kind and helpfull!
We really enjoyed our time there! :-)

  • 5 of us in a family really enjoyed our stay in JDs apartment. His response was top notch. He even arranged a friend on Eve of Christmas at 1840ish to pick us up so that we would not have the trouble to look for his place with taxis. And Alex,JDs friend, who picked us up, was really helpful with infos and even helped to carry our luggages to the apt.Thank you JD and Alex for making our stay in the beautiful and charming city of Amsterdam a memorable one.Would definately reccomend to friends and all.

  • JD was absolutely helpful and friendly! He helped my family and I with our heavy luggage up those steep steps to his flat. He gave us very useful directions around the neighbourhood too! As for getting around, the tram stop is within a 5-minute walk away, which will then connect you to other places within the city. Really convenient! ((: Probably will need a good GPS/map to locate JD's apartment though, since the flats in the area look just about the same especially in the night.

  • The greatest asset for this property is its prime location. Conveniently 1 minute walk to the tram station, which in 10 minutes will bring u to ciy centre. With a bike, u can cycle almost everywhere, and after midnight, the place is very reachable from city centre ( i did a 30 minute walk to the place from city centre after midnight).

Amneties are sufficient if not generous!!◇(JD left us 2 bikes for us to use!). And before he left he showed us a food market that open dailynearby, which have everything u can think of !

JD himself was very helpful. He give me a short tour of the neighbourhood upon my arrival, which is very useful. Owh and the smart tv in the living room is nothing short of marvellous

Thank you very much for everything!

  • The place is nice and very well located. JD was always nice and took care of giving us a lot of info about the neighborhood and the place. Communication with him was always easy.
