Great room and friendly host. Very quiet and peaceful spot. I enjoyed my stay. Must have a car to get in and out of town.
Such a lovely lady and a beautiful location in the countryside. We had the basement room and 0.5 bath, with the main bathroom being on the first floor. It was fine for us, as we don't mind cats. I would recommend staying here.
It was the second time we went to Wilma's place and it was such a pleasure to sleep during few nights in this beautiful and peaceful home. Wilma is so kind and welcoming. She will do everything to fell you at home. And her home is just perfect : very clean and warm, very comfortable and calm (just right in the middle of the nature) and it's a good spot from which you can take fully advantage of the Northern Vermont. And if you don't know where to go or what to do, Wilma will advise you about some delicious restaurants, good hikings or lovely towns.
Definitively, thanks Wilma for her hospitality and her kindness.
We had a great relaxing two-night stay at Wilma's place, located just outside the town of Bristol in a beautiful setting. The room is warm, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Wilma is a very friendly host who gave us excellent advice on fall scenic drives and local hikes in the area. We enjoyed our conversations with Wilma, and especially loved spending time with her cat Biscuit. Overall, a delightful place, highly recommended!
Wilma was a gracious host. The room was very cozy and Wilma was very helpful. I highly recommend the room.
We stayed at Wilma's place but had the upstairs room instead of this room. It was quite comfortable and cozy, clean and met our expectations.
Wilma went out of her way with extended hospitality during my stay at her country home in the woods just outside of Bristol village. The house is surrounded by her beautiful gardens. The room is large, simply decorated and very clean. The bed is comfortable and covered with one of Wilma's lovely quilts. Her screened-in porch is a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning. Seeing as I stayed there during the summer, I didn't use the gas fireplace, but I'm sure it makes the room cozy and warm in the winter.
Wilma is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I look forward to returning to Wilma's place in the future.

I moved to Vt 16 years ago from Southern Jersey to explore Vermont's countryside. I have a small quilting business that I run from home. When I'm not in my studio I love going on outdoor adventures. Some of the things I like to do are Downhill Skiing, Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Gardening and Birdwatching. I have travelled overseas with Habitat for Humanity as well as across the beautiful United States. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing my home and the beauty of Vt with them.
