Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Serenity House is a perfect retreat for two. Can sleep as many as four. It is located high in the trees. It boasts a beautiful view of the property from the sizable porch for enjoying a drink under the stars. Let the space sway you to sleep as the wind blows the treehouse side to side.

The space
Serenity House is 460 square feet with a loft bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living area and spacious porch. The treehouse overlooks a small valley and during winter months you can see our horse pastures.

Please note the loft is up a ladder. If you are not able to climb stairs or a ladder this place may be difficult for you. This space is located high in the trees (about 20 ft at eye level at the highest point, and about 80 ft above the valley floor).

We have a cream and white dog, LeeLoo, that has free range of the property. She will most likely greet you upon your arrival or join you on your walk. She's very sweet and social, she just wants to meet everyone! (The neighborhood dog, Red, has adopted our farm and guests as his own. He's very kind and just needs some love as he's been abandoned by his real owner. He does bark.)

**There is no internet or tv in this space. There is also very little phone service! We recommend bringing books, games, journals or small hobbies. If weather is supposed to be rainy you might consider bringing a computer with movies DOWNLOADED on it. (Or one with dvd capabilities.)

Guest access
Trails through and around the property for hiking. Garden, orchard and fresh chicken eggs available as the season allows. Pond for swimming and fishing. Beef from our cattle is available for purchase as well. (Cuts may be limited) We also have Rock 'N Refuge cups for sale.

Other things to note
We do allow pets at our treehouse. We require that all pets are up to date on all flea and tick medication and a $40 pet fee that can be left upon your departure. Please bring a sheet or blanket to cover the furniture if your pup is accustomed to being on the bed and sofa.

Check in is flexible. The building will be unlocked and ready for you one your arrival day. The keys will be left on the table for you. Upon departure, please leave the keys where you found them.

Check out is at 10am.

Please feel free to share any photos or your experience to our Social Media page, Rock 'N Refuge or #rocknrefuge, @rocknrefuge.

Your first load of firewood is free, but any subsequent load of wood after that will be $10 cash. Please understand, that while we are very wooded and it seems the supply would be endless, it is a long hard process to get good firewood to you.

My husband, David, and I live on the family farm, Rock 'N Refuge, with our two children, and our dog LeeLoo and cat Toulouse. David is a handyman and the interior designer/contractor of all our buildings. I am a former caterer and now managing the Airbnb rentals and a stay-at-home mother. We are both very laid back and love to travel. We hope we provide visitors with a sense of peace and relaxation that comes with farm life! Please search the web for our farm to learn more! (Rock 'N Refuge) Our co-host Marcia is the wonderful human that keeps me sane! She does all the cleaning and keeps track of all the supplies in the buildings! She lives near by with her cats, two dogs and her chickens. If you eat the eggs provided for guests, they’re from Marcia’s chickens!
