Anchors is a newly refurbished property, on one level, created from part of the owners Dutch gabled house built in the 1930s. Situated in an idyllic position just off ‘The Hard’ at Burnham Overy Staithe. Guests can walk straight from the house onto the salt marsh, so bird watchers, sailors, or children wanting to get muddy are in the perfect spot. The ferry to the ‘Island’ is right on your doorstep where you can get to a beautiful sandy beach, great for summer picnics and kite flying. You may get lucky and spot a seal or two. The outside space is sheltered. The interior bright and sunny. Just a short walk away is The Hero pub selling good food and the Burnham Boathouse is open during the day for all boating needs and snacks. Sailors can launch their boats free of charge from the slipway and there is plenty of storage space for boats. Anchors can be rented together with Mays Way Flat or Fishers Lodge for a group sleeping up to 12.
