About this listing
My cozy household has been a home away from home to many exchange students, researchers, tourists and travellers of all kind over the past two years. I'd love to hear from you if you feel this would be a good place for you!
My house is homey and has a little, messy back garden attached to it. My living room wants you to push all the furniture aside and dance or hula hoop in the middle of the room, but it also wants you to snuggle up and light some candles. Usually the house is filled with two airbnb guests, me, friends, the smell of Indian curries and laughter. Sometimes with a little bit of quiet and some extra blankets.
The room in the pictures will be yours for the duration of your stay but you can also feel free to live downstairs, cook, listen to music, love the living room or play in the garden.
You can park your car free of cost in front of my house, and you can store your bike or walking shoes safely inside. There is a possibility to rent a bike for the duration of your stay. There are two toilets in the house and one bathroom they're all shared. There is a supermarket a 5 minute walk away, city centre is 10 minute bike ride away. I have no pets, no TV, and yes you can bake cookies here!
One of my first guests offered me an osteopathic treatment in exchange for a discount, I thought this was a great idea! I encourage travelers with a small budget to be creative and inquire!
From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
This is a lovely place to stay. The home was simple but comfortable and clean. You'll have everything you need. It gives feeling of Home away from Home.
Leonie is very kind, funny and live. It was pleasure to have interesting dialog with her.
Thanks Leonie for your Bike!!!
Leonie, the host, is a great person and you can easily communicate with her. I 've spent there the last month and Leonie's place is just great - a bit minimal and inviting at the same time. The rooms are also minimal but Leonie will make sure that you won't miss something. :)
The neighborhood is quiet with some birds singing and some house cats just chilling in the street...There is a decent supermarket just 3 minutes cycling from the house and the city center (Masstricht) is just 7-10 minutes cycling or 15 minutes walking. Highly recommendable!
Leonie was really kind and hospitable! It was pleasure to have interesting conversastion with her. Home is comfortable and clean. Great time!
We hadden een heerlijk weekend in Maastricht. Leonie is heel gastvrij en gul. Een geboren B&B houdster! Voor de liefhebber van een eenvoudige en informele plek. Pim&Johan
This is a lovely place to stay - Leonie is very welcoming and helpful. She's a good cook and a good storyteller and everything is very comfortable!
Everythng positive told or read about Leonie is 100% true. In her hause you'll feel confortable and safe, surrounded by teas! Ask and she'll give you advices and informations. Every word I wrote now looks wasted to me, because it's enough to say: Go to Leoni, you'll not regret it!
The house is quite, easy to reach and full of everything you may need to enjoy

About the Host, Leonie
I'm the kind of host who keeps on asking if you want cookies/blankets/food/tea/hugs or unicorns.
This makes me a bad and good host all at the same time. Once I'm certain you have enough tea and cookies I'll probably invite friends over, play games,
run around in the forest, go swimming in nature nearby,
party in a squat or go out in a dingy pub.
I also talk a lot when I'm not laughing or listening
or breathing or offering you unicorns.
being in nature
dancing in the streets
learning new things
doing things out of my box
