Daniela is a wonderful host. We arrived early and she and her son drove to our location so that they could help us find our way. When we arrived at the house there was homemade crostata and fresh fruit waiting for us. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean and in a fantastic location. I cannot speak highly enough of Daniela and her family for making us feel welcome and making our stay here something that we will remember and treasure. I highly recommend this fabulous house to anyone who is thinking of going to Orvieto!
The house was in a great location and we were within 5 minutes of everything we wanted to do in Orvieto. Daniela was incredibly hospitable and made this one of the best stays we had during our entire trip. I'd highly recommend staying here!
Daniela was an incredible hostess! She has a level of class, warmth and charm that is unparalleled to any experience I have had both on AirBnB and at BnBs and hotels. She and her daughter, Eleonora, picked us up from the funicular and drove us to the home so we didn't have to drag our bags around. They were thoughtful and friendly beyond words! We arrived at the home, after Daniela performed the most amazing backward parking job I have seen!, and the ivy and flowers growing around the door greeted us with a glorious fresh smell. The home has marble flooring throughout and the pictures do not do this lovely home justice! The furniture is all restored from the 1920s and is beautiful I wanted to take it home but alas, furniture is not carry on sized! The windows on every floor open up to a lovely cobbled street and bathe the home in light and the smell of flowers abounds. The kitchen is perfect! So warm and the light from the window floods in nicely. Daniela was BEYOND thoughtful and made us homemade pizza for lunch, best pizza we had in Italy over two weeks, and foccacia bread with shaved prosciutto that was out of this world scrumptious and to top it she made a lovely lemon cake in the shape of a rose! She left water, milk, wine and yogurt in the fridge and had tea and coffee as well. The rooms were very spacious and the views were of the tops of medieval houses an the DUOMO, you just don't get better than that! There are three flights of steep stairs which was not a problem for me and my parents but something to keep in mind and the shower is smaller but perfectly clean and adequate! In the mornings Daniela would sing in her home next store and you could hear it through the windows if you opened them. I couldn't have dreamed of a better spot! The location is prime! She suggested two fantastic restaurants that are close, I can't remember the names, but jut ask and they map it out and tell you what is delicious. Orvieto is magic and Daniella was our fairy godmother. Thank you for the most amazing stay and I can't wait to come back and visit again! Grazie!
Daniela was wonderful. She greeted us with fresh pizza and later made wonderful cookies for us. She communicated everything we needed. The apartment was not just clean and well appointed but beautiful. I had a
lovely view from my bedroom. The kitchen was very modern and easy to use. The whole apartment was very comfortable and it was easy to walk to any destination from there. I would love to stay there again.
Great location. Very good communication and came to pick us up and drop us off at the car park. Gave us some excellent recommendations. Would stay there again and would recommend it highly to others.
Our stay was absolutely magical. Daniela and her daughter met us at the funicular, even though we had offered to walk to the apartment. As our stay was for a month, we were amazed at how beautifully the apartment worked for us. We cooked many of our own meals, and the kitchen was fully equipped and easy to work in. Clearly, the apartment is lovingly cared for. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and Daniela even provided clean sheets and fresh towels for us each week, something we had not expected. the separate levels also gave us a feeling of substantial spaciousness, and the early morning experience of opening the shutters in our bedroom and stepping out on the balcony to welcome the day was a treasure. The apartment is located on a very quiet and picturesque narrow street, and only a matter of two or three minutes walk to multiple stores, a fresh pasta shop, a butcher, a fish store, a full service market, and the lovely sites of the town. Also, as it is facing open green spaces, sunlight flooded in through much of the day. Perhaps best of all, though, is the presence of Daniela and her family. They were generous and amazingly helpful, from surprising us on arrival with a delicious homemade cake, the ingredients for a luscious pasta dish, to assisting us in finding a doctor when my wife developed a bad cough. There can't be a more perfect location in the town, or a better owner.
We had a lovely stay in Orvieto. Daniela was great with communication and met us on arrival taking us and our bags to the apartment. On arrival we were greeted with a delicious homemade apple cake & cheese & fruit platter. The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, sunny and beautifully equipped with everything we needed. The restored bedroom furniture is gorgeous & the bed is comfortable. The apartment is very conveniently located to the town centre and all other sightseeing and dining needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this accommodation when in the beautiful town of Orvieto. Gracie Daniela.
