As your hosts, we are happy to recommend activities and make suggestions for your stay in Atlanta!
Morningside is a great neighborhood. It's quiet, safe, walkable yet right in the middle of the city.
We are half a block to #36 bus stop which goes to Emory, Virginia Highlands, Piedmont Park and Midtown. From midtown you can take MARTA to the airport, Buckhead, Lenox Mall, Downtown, Georgia State, and several other places.
No smoking inside the apartment. Small pets negotiated on a case by case basis. This is a quiet neighborhood. We like our neighbors. If you're looking for a party house, this is not it.
Stacie was an incredible host and their property is located in a perfect part of town. Grocery stores, restaurants and the park are all near the home. Safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The home itself has all amenities that you could think of. Very comfortable! I'll be returning to Atlanta shortly and will be booking with Stacie again.
The basement private apartment is in a nice neighborhood with easy short commute to mid and down town Atlanta. This basement apartment is spacious and clean, has a private entrance, a well furnished kitchen and washer and dryer inside the house, ideal for couple who would like to stay more than a few days. The hosts are gracious. Since it is a basement apartment, expect normal movement and usage noise from upstairs in the morning.
Stacie's apartment was perfect for our stay and just as described - clean, spacious, and conveniently located. We did not meet Stacie, but she communicated well beforehand. She left coffee, milk and snacks for the morning (much appreciated). Would definitely stay again.
This apartment is in a great area of Atlanta. The neighborhood is perfectly pleasant for walking. There are also numerous places within walking distance to eat or shop, and driving to any part of town (Buckhead, Midtown, downtown) is really easy from this central location.
The bed is comfortable, and there is room to spread out.
The kitchen and bathroom are amply sized for a basement apartment, which is nice. Having the off-street parking is really convenient too.
I would recommend this listing for sure.
Stacie made us feel very welcomed in advance via email and text messages. Her directions for accessing the key and parking were all quite clear. Our arrival was smooth. Coffee, biscotti, and flowers greeted us. Her home proved a great stay in a wonderful neighborhood. Great location for access to parks, restaurants and bakeries. I highly recommend Casseroles for carry out convenience- to cook at home- wonderful menu, extremely convenient and personable staff. Virginia Highlands is a great location for accessing the best of Atlanta.
This unit is in a BEAUTIFUL neighborhood, just down the street from Alon's -- one of Atlanta's finest bakeries, as well as several other places to eat. Stacie & Jerry were excellent hosts. The apartment was just what we needed for a one-month stay: wifi, washer/dryer, kitchen, big closet, toiletries, etc. Highly recommended!
Friendly, great communication, excellent location, has everything, clean and perfect. Stacie and her husband were amazing hosts. We could not have stayed in a better place. Bravo!
