The space

The apartment has a newly renovated bathroom, flat screen tv, private washer and dryer, air conditioner, heat, a fully equipped kitchen, couch in the living room, queen bed, ceiling fan and desk in the bedroom, and local art on the walls. Two can be accommodated very comfortably.

Guest access

In addition to the complete privacy of the apartment, guests can enjoy the outdoor seating area in the yard, and parking next to your front door. Take a five minute walk to Alons for pastries and coffee, The Family Dog for a drink, Morningside Kitchen for amazing Peruvian chicken and a nicely poured Guinness. Doc Chey's, a juice bar and Highland Wine are also right around the corner . A ten minute walk south on N. Highland will take you to DBA for excellent BBQ, Mali for Thai and sushi, San Francisco Coffee Company for a caffeine fix, and El Taco for great quesadillas and margaritas. A fifteen minute walk gives even more dining and refreshment options, including Murphey's, Yeah! Burger, Moe's and Joe's, George's, Highland Tap (best martini in town), La Tavola (fresh pasta!), and a number of charming boutiques.

The neighborhood

Morningside is a great neighborhood. It's quiet, safe, walkable yet right in the middle of the city.

Getting around

We are half a block to #36 bus stop which goes to Emory, Virginia Highlands, Piedmont Park and Midtown. From midtown you can take MARTA to the airport, Buckhead, Lenox Mall, Downtown, Georgia State, and several other places.
