Hart’s House is a fantastic family home just a stone’s throw away from the harbour at Burnham Overy Staithe.
It boasts sea views from the main sitting room, kitchen and two of the bedrooms upstairs, and can comfortably accommodate ten people if the downstairs snug is closed off and the sofa converted to a bed. The spacious kitchen diner is the heart of the house with a large table and chairs, glazed french doors out to the rear enclosed patio garden and the bright sitting room has a log burner to keep you cosy during the colder months.

Kitchen & Diner
A very light and spacious room with glazed French doors opening onto the enclosed patio garden to the rear of the house and views to the sea from the front. There is a large dining table with chairs to seat ten. The kitchen is fully fitted, and boasts an American style fridge freezer, integrated electric oven with integrated electric hob and extractor hood, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. There is a wood burner, dresser, comfy chair and bookshelves, TV & DVD. If you bring your pet with you on holiday, you are requested to keep them in this room only during your stay.

Entered either from the sitting room or the entrance hall, the snug has doors to shut it off from the main sitting room and has a TV/DVD, sofa that converts into a sofa bed and comfortable armchair.

Accessed from the entrance hall is a large shower room with mains pressure shower, wash hand basin, sink and WC. Door to utility room
This room can be accessed from outside and ideal when returning wet and muddy and houses an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer with direct access to the downstairs shower room.

There is parking for at least two cars on the verge outside the property. To the rear of the house is a patio area that wraps round to one side, there is a wooden picnic style bench outside the sliding doors to the kitchen diner and another round the corner with the BBQ. There is also a log pile for guests to use.
Burnham Overy Staithe is home to Overy Staithe Sailing Club. There is a comprehensive chandlery on the quayside. The creek is spectacular in all weathers and the walk along the sea bank to the beach is very special. Overy beach is deserted and wildlife is abundant. Miles of sand backed by high sand dunes make it a desolate but incredible place. In season terns nest here on the beach and are protected by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The Hero pub and restaurant is a couple of minutes walk from the quayside and provides hearty and wholesome food. The Norfolk Coast path runs through Overy Staithe. The black windmill is a true North Norfolk landmark and dominates the skyline for miles. This is owned by the National Trust.
